Top 30 Salary Cap for 2023 is $11.45 million, a 22% increase on 2022, but players with ratchet clauses only get a 18% increase. How does that work?
Min Wage now $120k for all players in the Top 30, and the cap for development players is now $650k. I think that Development List is being increased to a maximum of 10 though I heard somewhere? I wonder if you essentially get $65,000 per player, or whether you can just have 5 players on $120,000 if you want?
So you've basically got $7.85 million to allocate above the minimum wage however a club sees fit. I think this was about $6.5 million in 2022.
