Being a great trainer and kid is all well and good. But doesn't guarantee success at first grade. I am sure there are plenty of young kids out there who train just as hard as Jake but don't have connections to help break through to the top grade.
Outside of a grubber kick behind the line that comes off once every every now and then. I have seen nothing to suggest Jake will be anything special.
He still looks like he is playing at a Ron Massey cup speed in first grade. Slow and labourours in everything he does.
I blame his father who should never have put him in this situation.
I doubt there are too many young kids that train as hard or show the effort as him.
There are alot of talented kids that give up when they realise how much effort they have to put in to make it..
Let's be honest he isn't going to be a Moses or Brown type of player but he is going to be a good backup half that's not taking a chunk of the cap.
