I may be wrong but did Jarryd do much charity work with us when he was at his peak.

He was invested in Hillsong but don't recall much else.

Dylan has been an ambassador with Ronald McDonald house for a few years. And one of the bleaches he did to his hair during covid was for charity I believe.

Spoke to someone at the club about Dylan Brown. He is basically the heir apparent to what we had with Jarryd Hayne. A genuine superstar he will be our brand going forward as a club.



The club is so happy with his attitude, humility and what he brings to our brand. Personally I think he is a slow burn and does not possess the natural gifts that Hayne had but with time his legacy will surpass our former fullbacks.

and the way our new backrowers have trained who are inspiring the juniors coming through is next level. Hopgood/Murchie/Doorey are training the house down.

That's surprising to me - I'd have thought that Brown would be second.

It will be interesting to see what we do with Blake and Sivo. I can’t see both staying. Blake despite what we think is a very popular member of the squad and I know that BA rates him. He also rates Sivo and when you look back he really came back well from an ACL.

Yikes. I can't see Blake ever starting as an NRL winger again - teams will just isolate him for his high kick weakness, for the easy win.

He possibly gets a start in the centres, if we don't have anyone better pushing for the spot... and not having replaced Opacic helps him with that, so long as he's not found defensively liable.

Would not renew Blake on top 17 money. Sivo, no harm in renewing him for a further year (or year by year) - so long as he or his manager don't carry on and want increases above his current deal that are not merited.

Both Hopgood and Murchie have been training in the middle and Doorey has been training in the vacant right-edge spot. I'm going to make a big call for 2023 and say I think we'll be a better side in 2023. Also btw I have been told that Taupau will be signing on.

Tapau for one year on about $300k with an option in our favour is a good pick up. He could do a similar job to what Kaufusi did for less money than he is on at Cronulla now.

Say what you want about MON but the only f**k up he has had with us is Papali'i and I reckon he may return like Paulo.

Couldn’t care less about Mahoney. I’m glad he has gone the little f**king turncoat. I’m tipping him to be a flop at the Dogs.

As I said. For 250-300k he is fine. What sort of player would you expect for those figures? He is also capable of playing like a 500k centre on his day. Just doesn't seem to do it for more then 4 or 5 games in a row.
