He finishes most of our sets (which is an important role) but rarely gets the most touches in our spine. For a bloke to be on $1m + they need to be very influential on the outcome of games.

Every week hodgo plays 80?I’m over the Moses contract thing. I hope the club is sticking to its guns.
as for our forward pack I feel our strongest pack if all fit is
8 Paulo
9 Hodgo
10 RCG
11 Lane
12 Doorey (I would stick with him for now)
13 Hopgood
14 Cartwright
15 matterson
16 Nathan Brown
17 doesn’t really matter because BA never plays them but I would like to see Wiremu given 6 weeks to see if he can make it.
It’s old in rugby league terms. You can probably afford to carry a few around that age but don’t want your entire pack to be made up of that age group. How do you know they'll all be starting? Either way, if they're fit they'll be up to it. 32 isn't old. 30 certainly isn't. There's 30-year-old forwards in Origin every year.
What matters is the total cost. Giving an experienced player an extra year is a way to keep their price down in earlier years. But considering in 2025 we'll have Lane, Matterson, RCG and Paulo all 31 or 32, we'll also have Mataele at age 23. And there's still another three spots in the 17 for youngsters.
Yep, thought about that one, ideally we would have a will smith/ ray stone style player on the bench to give Hodgo a rest and cover multiple positions. We don’t unfortunately. Carty could cover at a stretch perhapsEvery week hodgo plays 80?
Mate, carty is terrible out of dummy half. All last year when he did play there his passes were like floating out really slowly off the ground.Yep, thought about that one, ideally we would have a will smith/ ray stone style player on the bench to give Hodgo a rest and cover multiple positions. I would actually start Cartwright. He went well the other night. I think when he comes off the bench he's either nervous or feels like he has to make a statement, and that's where mistakes come in.I’m over the Moses contract thing. I hope the club is sticking to its guns.

Just love Hindmarsh. He is a true Parra Legend:
Moses will bring up his 200th NRL game in Round 2 and has scored 35 tries and 1,082 points, but has so far failed to lead a side to a premiership.
Hindmarsh believes the Eels should let Moses leave to join the Tigers rather than bow to his demands, given they have already offered a deal that would make Moses one of the game’s highest paid players.
“It is a great offer, but if he doesn’t stay and goes to the Tigers then so be it because apparently the Tigers’ offer is still on the table,” Hindmarsh said.

He brings up his 200th game this week and is playing at home. If he doesn't announce it by Friday the milestone will end up being a true wet fart moment.Have to agree... Watching all the games over the weekend Moses is well behind a few of the halves that gat paid less than what he wants.
I would be happy if the club chased Suallliii moved Gutho to 5/8 and Brown to half and then put our hopes in the 3 Juniors in a few years..

The Sharks won in 2016 with four members of their pack over 32. It didn't stop them. It’s old in rugby league terms. You can probably afford to carry a few around that age but don’t want your entire pack to be made up of that age group.
I think Shannon Sharpe explains it very nicely here
I think they got rid of it last year when they appointed Junior co-captain.Is Matterson still part of the leadership group? Surely not
Lewis & Ennis who were the other 2 btw.The Sharks won in 2016 with four members of their pack over 32. It didn't stop them
Doubt it. Given his exit and the negative talk when he left the Tigpies I was very surprised he was handed his Prefects Badge by BA the minute he walked in the door. Well probably not so surprised in retrospect. Is Matterson still part of the leadership group? Surely not
Whatever it takes ffsIt could be said by some that peptides (allegedly) may help (allegedly) lessen the decline of aging athletic bodies (allegedly), but I couldn't possibly comment either way.
