Danny Weedler is here at woolies. Anything you want me to ask him ?
Are you happy for a selection from the Kosher aisle?Ask him what marinade I should get for my chicken

Another Sydney team is a big mistake, we need less teams not more.
There is no reason to treat a grand final any differently to a preliminary final (which we won). Stop trying to blame every loss on coaching. Penrith were better than every merkin last year.Almost every club is while we have Bea Arthur in charge, he makes too many basic errors as a coach ever to coach a team that is a genuine threat. Look at how badly he f**ked up our prep for the GF. It's JuSt A nOrMaL gAmE!!!

Yes some are very pretty. Oh, food ? Sorry, back on topic ...I can go Jewish
Like Mortimer and Matterson. Easy to win comps when you're not overpaid at the Roosters. If you demand big money at a weaker club you won't win anything. That's how the cap works.Imagine NBrown landing at the Roosters this season, and getting a bench forward gig in an actual quality side and rejuvenating his career... while we struggle to even make the top 8 this year under BA's system and bench rotations
If there is a better replacement available why wouldn't this hypothetical club just sign him instead? If we get the better mid-season replacement first, any team that is desperate to temporarily improve their backline stocks when they see a "quality" player like Blake in our NSW Cup... Any team that needs to pay overs for guys like him to fill a current weakness... Any coach that fancies taking on a project... the internal logic is endless!
Is it not working or are we just unlucky this year? Is luck only a factor when this coach wins?Working (final four finish) for one year, with some luck. And now not working again.
Pretty much yes.Is it not working or are we just unlucky this year? Is luck only a factor when this coach wins?
You mean from the coach up? He doesn't run the club, and isn't in charge of recruitment/retention.Look if we release Brown and have no immediate plans to sign a good player that afternoon then every single merkin from the coach down needs to be thrown in that stinky river behind the club.
Its got nothing to do with "those clubs" it has everything to do with available options. Right now those clubs and your club have Mitchell Moses as an option for a halfback for 2024. If Cleary, Munster, Hughes, Reynolds, Hynes, Walker, were available now, Moses re-signs for Parra at $800K pa and Tigers and Dogs are offering the above guys $1.2M. Slight caveat in that the Tigers have the feel good "homecoming angle" but that goes by the wayside if they have a shot at the above.
You dont think BA is the most important vote on such matters. You mean from the coach up? He doesn't run the club, and isn't in charge of recruitment/retention.
We actually played the ball quicker than the Sharks: https://www.nrl.com/draw/nrl-premiership/2023/round-2/eels-v-sharks/Its not the loss Pete its the way we lose. BA said they spent all off season doing defence yet it is deplorable. Our tackle technique is poor and always has been. We don't hit and stick and get the tackler on his back, instead we're scattered like 10 pins after a strike and let the opposition ptb too quickly. We get dominated in the ruck with the slowest ptb speed of probably any team. Quick ptb's is one of the best forms of attack yet we're dummies at it and have always been. So what did they learn over the off season?
