Siebold, Ciraldo, Webster, The bloke taking over from Wayne. The Souths coach that replaced Wayne. There are always options if due dilligence is done. I dont think our A is a major problem but to ignor whats happening and has been happening with our D for years isnt good.

Well Gaz using that logic all we need is a proper assistant defence coach. Because as a man manager BA seems to have all the credentials.

ciraldo and Webster are questionable as they are rookies. Payton and fitzie have guided them teams to strong seasons.

There’s other issues at hand. The players he’s recruited and basic use of the bench. Thrashing paulo and RCG is going to be detrimental to their game.

Well we've had a few but it dosent improve. I guess we should never assume anything.

Considering we were 1 game away last year, it must be close I guess but our recruitment leaves me scratch my head. Like is MON trying to turn Parra into the Tigers? When was the last time we had a marquee signing? It seems like we always go for rough cut diamonds.

I don't mind rough cut diamonds, if they scratch an itch we have - and in that regard, we signed Hodgson to replace Mahoney, and a few other smokies.

But I think we needed to invest our resources in strengthening our bench - Moimoiseah is a park footballer, at best, Murchie is struggling in the middle...

This has now been questioned a number of times but many league pundits not just us. This is a good point. I know nothing about how popular he is amongst the players. I do know however that some of the staff that I personally know respect him. He is a very focused and driven individual who lives for our team.

However my only concern is not one of apathy but arrogance. Because he has been the boss for so long arrogance can creep in which can lead to a closed minded attitude where he could dismiss viable alternatives and creativity amongst the 17. Especially when it comes to game plans that are not just about Plan A and chasing the collision.

I guess what we're missing is a great winger. I was reading somewhere that the Centre is now a boring position so that means you need a great attacking winger besides a defensive centre. Simonson and Blake are a disaster and Penisini and Sivo are so-so though Penisini is a solid centre.

I don't understand the haste.

Before the usual suspects assail my character, my discontent is not due to the last two RESULTS.....but it is due to the endemic problems with Brad's structures and game plans as confirmed in those games. The same problems have persisted for a very long time in the failure to manage the bench and the staid nature of our game plans.

we made the grand final last year despite these failings - and nothing has been done to address them, which means he doesn't see them as failings and that in itself petrifies me.

That, or he is unable to address the failings - which is equally depressing.

I think Penisini is a gun, but we aren't using him correctly; ten years at the helm, and BA still can't coach a team to give their centres good, clean, early ball.

We over-spent on our starting pack, so it means our bench is average.

I think our recruitment focus should have been to poach youngsters from other clubs, or promote from within.
