Just an observation, the bunker official was the dark haired female touchie/ref who when I watch, stands in line with forward passes and drop balls and seems to refuse to raise the flag. Was there a thought of penalising the current golden boy and sending a Donkey to the sin bin would take them down to 11 would see more scrutiny on her performance, will never know but entered my head immediately.
I reckon that's a fair call.

If Ezra Mann wasn't sent 30 seconds earlier then I reckon Payne Haas goes the bin.

I think they were gun shy to make it 13 on 11.

So, as indicated last night, we need a Right Wing, Left Centre, 9/14, and one other quality interchange middle. We royally f**ked up the potential recruitment of Taupau.

An immediate Right Wing option is surely Nofoaluma, he is well on the outer at the Tigpies. As an option going forward, Charlie Staines is also signed only for this year, and isn't going to be getting a gig as their long term fullback.

Left Centre there is a plethora of options out there, but most of it is recycling players that haven't really done much at their current club.

For the 9/14, I'd take a look at the English guy currently at the Titans, as he isn't their long term option. Although, we don't have a great record with recruiting pommies. Another option is Moses Mbye, who could be more than handy.

Interchange middle, we only need someone to play 30 minutes, there are a few options out there

Didn't the club use the excuse of the CBA not being done and by the time we fluffed around waiting Brisbane pounced on Marty.

Most Manly fans reckon he was a busted arse, useless & over the hill last year. When the speculation was he was coming to Parra.

Could have done with him now looks like a new lease of life in Brisbane has helped.

She fills a quota... There was a female ref who reffed the women's test match last year who does a better job.

I really like you merkins, but if you guys ended up with Nofo & Mbye, I would be banned in a day. It would be hilarious and glorious.

Both of those players, like 85% of NRL players, fall into the category of good player in a great team, average player in shit team.

I agree those 2 are just average footballers.

How Moses Mbye ever played origin has got me stumped.

Mbye was actually a VERY good fullback, other than a small issue that he cant catch bombs. His positioning in attack and passing game was actually excellent. Has a great pass on him. His pace is probably gone now but he was the perfect fullback other than oppositions would bomb him out of the game (Laurie has the same problem).

I recently was listening to a podcast with Hayden Knowles and he really rates Charlie Staines. Stated that he has phenomenal pace and can turn on a dime at speed.

He’s definitely better than anything we have 2nd tier out wide.

Broncos duo Ezra Mam and Payne Haas are both facing time on the sidelines after the pair were charged with Grade Two Dangerous Contact offences in Brisbane's win over the Eels in Darwin.

Mam was cited for a tackle on Matt Doorey in the 63rd minute while Haas was charged for an incident on Reagan Campbell-Gillard one minute later.

Both players face a one-week suspension with an early guilty plea or a two-week suspension if they unsuccessfully contest the charges at the judiciary. ONE friggin week and Reg might be out for 12weeks FFS

I'm not sure he is in our top 30

But, with respect, are you here wishing him home and in your top 30??

No just responding to the suggestion that your current right wing is worse than Nofo, which is the point of desperation that Cini would enter the conversation.
