There’s a bloke playing reserve grade for the roosters that would walk into our team on the bench, think his name was Nathan something, oh, that’s it, Nathan Brown.
He would be on massive coin at the Roosters though, because we released him early. There’s a bloke playing reserve grade for the roosters that would walk into our team on the bench, think his name was Nathan something, oh, that’s it, Nathan Brown.
f**ken source it or it isnt true.He would be on massive coin at the Roosters though, because we released him early.
Well we know Waqa Blake was on huge money at Penrith and they released him to us early. Now he is on huge money at our club. If that's true for a bloke with no Origin experience, how much more so for Nathan Brown?
It's just science.
Waqa has always wanted to chase the collision.Cheap. I heard he took around 200k for the chance to play under the talented coach BA
You know very well that we took over that large contract. Initially it was shared. I’m not saying it was 50/50 but it was subsidised by the Panthers.Well we know Waqa Blake was on huge money at Penrith and they released him to us early. Now he is on huge money at our club. Now it’s probably not and the club realises he isn’t worth his current deal or anywhere near it at full freight.
We'd be hard to beat if we had a team like this but our recruitment is that f**king dumb. Nofa is literally sitting in reserve grade. Make a play for him FFS
Because he is signed until the end of 2025. Do we want him on the books for that long? On decent coin? It’s a genuine question and I would be interested pending on how much the Tigers would be willing to fork out.
Kayal Iro and Trey Mooney are interesting prospects. It’s a shame the Sharks have managed to offload Ikuvalu.
Yeah. Brown was a damn good 5-8 last year and didnt he shift him to get his useless son Jake into the team?
Different situation this year as it is becoming probable he is just not a good 5-8 and could fill a need at centre.
Is there a chance that we could somehow make a play for Blacker at Penrith or Baker from Roosters. Both could do a very good job while RCG is out. I wouldn't mind getting Kelly and Nofoaluma somehow as well. Does anyone know roughly how much we have to spend?
Would be the 1st player I'd be trying to get. He is an absolute gun
Or Maybe the coaching staff could coach Brown better and not stick him just on the left.
So why is he still languishing in the lower grades at that age? Outside backs mostly come into the NRL from 18-21 years of age. If you are still playing NSW cup at 23 that means you probably have deficiencies. Probably defensive ones that haven't been sorted out.
Blacker runs hard and goes decent in shorter stints. Gives away far too many penalties too. Having said that, I can’t understand why he isn’t at least given more opportunities at Penrith. You only get better by getting a chance.Yeah I'm a bit perplexed as to why Eddie Blacker is sill in the lower grades. I mean he is 23 going on 24 late this year. Is it all just hype about this guy? I haven't seen enough of this guy to make a fair judgement on him. But from what I have seen of him he was ok, be it he needed a little more involvement. Does anyone who watches more of the lower grades have an opinion on him?
Has he got a big motor. Does he hit the line consistently hard etc?
I like Connor Tracey. He seems stuck in NSW CUP. Walks into our side
