It appears someone wants you to prove your claim Waqa is not on 500k.
It seems reasonable, in the absence of evidence provided by you that he isn't, and in the absence of proof across all formats (written, verbal, thought), to assume there is at least a chance someone may have had such an interaction with you.

I confess to not reading the sum of all posts on LU. The problem is that apparently I don't know how to read. I just pick up a random thought here and there. That one amused me - but I have now activated the troll trap. I may excuse myself and avoid it

Otherwise you don't know, and would have to conceded that perhaps there are things others know that you don't know; therefore there is a possibility he IS on the number suggested.

My impression is that you can't concede that, but who knows, not me!

I don’t assume anyone knows exactly what Waqa is on, but the only evidence (albeit flimsy) is that he is on decent coin. I just don’t think multiple media outlets would be that far off the mark. Sure, a bit of exaggeration but they start to lose credibility if they’re too far off the mark too often. That would hurt their bottom line.

It’s more that someone is making a puerile attempt to draw a false equivalence. Let’s just agree that none of us know how much players are getting paid. I would also agree with the assessment that Blake is probably on too much to sit in reserve grade.
