I don't think he does. He only has 2 of NRL standard, while other clubs have 3-6 front rowers alone not counting their other middles or back rowers.

Our Potato Head loves bargain basement edge forwards and outside backs.
I recall the debarcle that was Daniel Alvaro. Turned him from decent fat forward to skinny forward in the off season and when that didnt work turned him back into fat forward again. Daniel was never the same.

Missed tackles.
Any form of attacking stat.
Like I said, missed tackles aren’t a big deal in the middle. You can reduce your missed tackles just by reducing your involvement. Hang back, don’t be first into contact, etc. You always miss 100% of the tackles you don’t attempt.

Hodgson’s attacking output has been poor but he’s also not hogging the good ball. We have far more dangerous players for that.

They 100% are if they lead directly to line breaks. You know mobility in our middle is a massive weakness. If any of them rush up and miss, it’s massive pressure on the likes of Junior & RCG to cover a large gap.
I’ve come around to thinking rather than being passive, Hodgson especially just needs to read the attack better in that he can’t be rushing up and missing if there’s a quick attacker lurking around. If it’s a one out hit up by prop, go for it, but if it’s Reece Walsh jinking around, move up as a unit because whilst they struggle to feel gaps, there is physically less gap between a structured Junior/Hodgson/RCG defensive line.

Junior needs the riot act read this week from BA.

Challenge him for better effort and stop trying to be halfback every play.

No, not as head coach. Slater would be the better head coach. Cronk is an assistant who would drum repetition, repetition, repetition, repetition...into them forever.

But if I could hired the best coach right now that is available it would hands down be Michael Cheika. He is a tactical style coach that is a peoples man and a great motivator. Also having someone as good as Barrett to guide him if needed on any offensive structures, there would be no issues at all.

The publicity he would generate for the club alone, just like when say the Roosters signed SBW or C. Cronk, would pay for his services. He would be a walking billboard for our club and the game. He is a media savvy man too so we would be getting a true professional at every level.

Look up what Moses had to say about him. If he isn't the best candidate bar a Bennett or Bellamy master signing I'll eat my hat and Pou's poorly resourced one too.

I would be making inquiries now and I reckon if they asked the players privately, they would all jump to the change. He is a players coach.
i like the motivator thing that is a thing i think is missing with our team

Here is a controversial opinion....

I would sign Ben Hunt as our halfback for the next 2-3 years (on max 800k as he is 33!) and let Moses go with the Plan to develop Blaize or Ethan to take over..
I had a similar thought over the weekend... When I saw he was 33 I kind of dismissed the idea.... I thought he was a couple of years younger. If he was 31, I'd be all for it...

I’d say his one-on-one defence isn’t what it was and he has needed to adapt. He used to be very strong and able to make those first contact hits stick more reliably. I’ve noticed he is being less aggressive in recent weeks while still working hard to help his mates a second and third man in. That’s the way to boost your stats. He isn’t silly.

Yeah I agree he’s been reading my posts.

Maybe not twice the player but he is definitely better. Hunt is still one of the best players in the game. But Moses has a much better kicking game.
Ben Hunt lives around the corner from me. My son serves him in his part time job at IGA whilst he is studying at Uni.

Avenger jr has spoken to him many times and is really impressed. I’ve heard different from other sources re: Moses and Gutherson. Not that friendly and a little clicky. Only heard one yesterday.
