Why would he? If he doesnt get hurt, his next months pay will come from Parra. If he busts his ACL, his next months pay and ongoing treatment and rehab comes from Tigers.
Why is it any different to busting has ACL next week in a Parra jersey?

For his sake, I’d hope then he hasn’t signed a contract with us for pending medical (well I DO hope he has there) and signed a release from Tigers. Because while he’d be medically covered, he wouldn’t have the assurance of an enduring contract.
And if the above was the case and he got suspended, well then he could very well be unpaid for the length of his contract plus potentially not have a contract afterwards.
But I’m sure both clubs have just done their usual and bottled the contracts. He could very well get suspended and be paid by both clubs for it.
Still I reckon you guys will cut him game day just for the laughs.

Ham on the Parra pod made a good point yesterday. He said that we should not be signing merkins like Murchie and Jirah for Cup OR playing dicks from Ron Massey. We should be promoting kids up. I think the fact that we’re not exposes our lack of planning during covid and how kids got lost when there was no footy. We are saying that there has been no mention that he is being subsidized by the Tigers and his salary at the Tigers for the next two seasons has been reported at $600K a season. So unless there is some evidence or reporting that the Eels are getting the Tigers to pay 'X' then why all the mental gymnastics from you the apologists?

He is owed what he is owed. We want him, the Tigers may have said you can have him on our terms. How do you know that that isn't the case? Sure they may have been happy to let him go, but at full freight, how do you know any different? I’d say he has “verbally” signed. Certainly that’s not ironclad but it’s close. If he hasn’t signed, we’ll be putting in additional clauses to the contract or at least waiting to see outcome of him playing this week before signing.

I expected one of you Tigers supporters to say as much and I almost agree. But they are very close. I think where you top us is you're DH and bench. But a our Top 5(excluding DH) are better then yours at this point. Next season as I expect our forwards will be a little older, and a little more worn out and a little more numbed to the drooling's of our Potato Head, so you may have exceeded ours overall.

But you are right, bar a miracle happening and you sign Hunt, I expect him to be at the Dogs next year, you will still be sh*t and we through Moses and maybe a couple of decent inclusions will improve enough to just make the eight maybe. Unless of course we sack Potato Head and hire Michael Cheika and make an additional awesome Prop and outs back singing. Then we could be top 4 and genuinely vying for the title.

And that my friends is why you pay premium for Moses even though he is a down hill skier.

I'm a little surprised that not one of my Eels supporters didn't pick up that the Tigers pack is equal or probably better then ours currently. They just have anchors dragging them down in the halves. Same with the Dogs. If either of those teams get a Hunt or even Moses type of player we would be spooners and they would be top eight.

Yep at full strength, but for how much longer the way Potato Head plays them?. Besides the glue for the pack is the DH and that is currently almost nonexistent.

If this were a property in similar situation (it’ll be profitable but not wealth defining), I’d be ringing seller & agent to confirm deal. If they ummed and ahhed, I’d say no thanks then. Then when they call on Monday, I’d cut price or put new requirements in.
