He also played 6 games off the bench for the Broncos in 2015. Looked good too, very quick out of dummy half.Yep. Killed it playing the Walker brothers version of rugby league where the game plan was a lot of running from dummy half, particularly sideways running. I actually thought he went ok in his first season of first grade without being anything special
Think you'll find Milne might grab a centre spot. Lafai is out of favour after a pretty poor 2016. MacDonald is more of a winger. And look out for Dufty through the year, very talented fullback who could play some NRL in 2017.Read the predictions from foxsports.
Many are giving the dragons no chance. I don't rate them highly but the side isn't awfull
The pack looks as good as most and the backrow could be deadly.

If say Hunt or lolohea ended up there I don't see why they cant push for the top 8. Big forwards-Big strong backs. Super fullback. If this is the 2nd worse team in comp its a bloody strong comp!
Manly just released parcel to super league (Leeds rhinos I think?) . Does this mean Manly are getting segy ?
9 is our massive issue for 2017.[/QUOTE
Disagree.....we have 3 hookers, people need to stop obsessing in regards to not having hookers Cameron king and Kaysa will step up and De go is will b his usual reliable self, I actually think if king is actually given a go he can b one of the best rakes in the comp.

We have 3 hookers, barely first grade standard.
I actually think that we will be a very good attacking team next year. My only concern in regards to creativity is the dummy half.
If whoever plays there can't get consistent quick/crisp passes out or make the right call as to who to pass it to or which side of the field to pass or when to run, then it will stifle the rest of the team.
As we all know the dummy half is the guy that drive it all. He is the guy who gets you on the front foot and the advantage that is necessary for the play makers to then quickly react to the weaknesses in any defensive structure. So if ours is inconsistent then we could be very limited in what we can and can't do in attack.
As for the rest of the team, there is strike power all over the place. If we can't score many points, I think it will be more then likely a dummy half issue.
I agree. I think for our team there is less need for an attacking hooker. With our 2 ball playing halves we need the hooker to deliver clean early ball and tackle his ring off. I can also see Bevan getting into dummy half occasionally and using his speed against a retreating defensive line, ideally with Mennings or Semi backing up on the outside. They are first standard IDG / Pritchard are as good defensively then any hooker in the Comp. Yeah IDG attack isn't the greatest while Pritchard's has potential.
BA has choosen defence over attack for his hookers. That is why king won't get a start over Nelson until his defence improves.
Bernie knows a fewWe have 3 hookers, barely first grade standard.

Has the number of interchanges been reduced to 6 for 2017? Haven't heard anything about it.Perhaps Arthur feels with limited interchanges being further reduced that having mobile props with bigger work ethics is more important...
Unfortunately imo Norman is still a boy in a man's body. A good woman will sort him out and ground him which could propel his game to an even higher level.I don't disagree with your sentiments of Gutherson, but Norman is, at this stage our main man. Without him, we have no chance at winning the big one. And as we all know a lot of the bad boys end up making the best leaders. He is, I feel, exactly one of these. He needs to be made the big banana. He will thrive and flourish if given the right environment and extra responsibility. To over look him for captain maybe seen by him as not having enough faith or confidence in his man/game management. This could then affect his progression and see him continue fading into and out of games. Not feeling the love has affected many and he is no different.
Personalities like Norman want to be centre stage. They thrive under the limelight of success and they crave leadership. To deny him, is to hobble the drive to be the greatest, that most sports personnel strive to be.
So that's the missing piece of the puzzle in our recruitment plans?Unfortunately imo Norman is still a boy in a man's body. A good woman will sort him out and ground him which could propel his game to an even higher level.
I think BA had plenty of time to sign segy when living with Norman and on outer with Penruff. But he didn't so doesn't want him for whatever reason, a great attacking player but very injury prone last few years. Is his defence a little iffy for BA's liking?Manly just released parcel to super league (Leeds rhinos I think?) . Does this mean Manly are getting segy ?
