Build a team that can keep others to under 12 points.
Then you crush the other sides mentally. I've seen enough of football. Great attacking team can often put on 20 quick points but when the opposition are down by 20 but still able to make breaks or 65mtrs every set and the energy levels stay HIGH.
League is about energy. Once the other team gives up you can put on 2-3 quick tries. Id rather trail the tigers by 14 then storm by 8. Good defensive team make the other team panic- Try new things and drift off game plan. Throw them outside of comfort zone.

Parra wont win a game in first 25mins but they also wont lose many come the 60th min mark. It will be a tough tight footy team.

We finished 2016 with a winning record (and inside the 8, sans point penalty) despite a list of injuries, controversies and general bullshit that some clubs would struggle to fit into their entire history, let alone the 12 months that we did. Our recruitment quietly went about filling some noticeable holes in our squad and we have a handful of core players that are set to make a big leap forwards as they mature as footballers. The legal cloud hanging over Semi Radradra's head is our only real concern, albeit a very serious one.

I know that making the top eight is far from a gimme for any franchise outside of Victoria but to say that we are being slept on is a considerable understatement methinks.

I'm interested to see how we handle playing 24 games away from.Pirtek in a season.

Not an excuse considering homebush is close by. It is different for a Warriors or NQLD away from home.

If Bevan - Gutherson step up and fingers crossed King or Kaysa come good it will be a very good season. Everyone else in the team is fail safe and you know what will get and need out of them.
Swapping a Matagi for a Wicks for a terepo for an Alvaro is not going to change the result of winning and losing.

Confident that Tepai will really show his worth and be the 2-3 in our pack with Manu and Brown.
