And how does it work when player and club both agree that parting ways is the best outcome, does the player then sit out the season?

Does it simply mean the Bulldogs have finally realised that Perham isn't a first choice fullback, and are happy to let him play elsewhere rather than their Cup team?

Of course it would, but I didn't say I wouldn't take a rort if it gave me an edge over my competition. I'm not a saint or stupid. I know how the world works and it is only football so it's nor like I am starving children or killing anyone. But that is why the ARLC/NRL need to step in and close these loopholes that basically allow the stronger clubs to cheat the salary cap.

As for all you other points, there are easy and strong ways to handle everyone of them, but I couldn't be bothered to flesh out all of them, besides I sure you would just throw up your arms and say it is all just to hard and won't work, but really it isn't and it will.

But you did make me laugh with your overpaid player example though. Really, like that is a problem that the ARLC/NRL and the players current club have to worry about, when said player is trying to break his contract and jump ship?

Also if a club is trying to fill a spot that they have lost a player through injury or season long suspension due to pending court cases, then if it is determined that it is legit, then some adjustment can be made within reason. Like I said, the whole concept of sport and its administration are just man made rules, so it is up to the administration to be savvy enough to make sure that it is as fair and equitable as possible for all members that participate and the public that supports it/them.

The Panthers only have the best half in the world and a SOO 5/8th not to mention all the other weapons in their team that Api must have taken away their opportunities from them and won the previous 2 GF's all on his lonesome then eh? I stopped reading after that though. To stupid to even bother going further.

Because your only “solution” is policy on the fly stuff. You want to stop rorting by creating an environment that allows potentially higher level rorting. You could all but ensure the NRL going back to the Arko/Fulton days where unsurprisingly Manly are the strongest club. Your “simple” solution lacks any detail and the gaps from that missing detail are what create these types of loopholes in the first place.
