The point is recovering from a game in Townsville in July is going to be quicker than recovering from a game in September. Otherwise the Cowboys would lose most away games every year. The fact is they also have a poor record backing up from finals matches in Townsville. They actually go better backing up from Sydney finals. It’s the wrong time of year to be playing up there.

No. He would cost way too much. Does he even deserve to earn more than Penisini? I’d say no. His defence is also shit. I’d rather sign Lomax with Saints paying some of the freight and I’m not a fan of his either.

Agree to disagree on Lomax. I think he is an A grade knob and don’t want him anywhere near us. He’s been told he is a superstar his whole life and it shows in his behaviour for mine.

Plus, he has just publicly committed to Dragons I believe yesterday after comments by Flanno he’ll see out his contract.

I raised Best as lots of word they need relief in the cap therefore I thought he may be achievable..?

I think BA could work on his defence but he is only 21 for goodness sake and has already played Origin (and starred). Pretty impressive.

Agree with this take. Lomax is not what any team needs.

Best defense isnt as bad as people make out. He has also shown improvements and is a hard worker. In saying that there is no way he leaves the Knights.

Best has hit a purple patch of form which has coincided with Ponga moving back to 6 and getting back to his best form. Ditto with that whole left Edge (Fitzgibbon and Marzhew).

Best is young and is an obvious talent but I think his manager is just striking while the Iron is hot and trying to get as much $$ as possible before he and the Knights form inevitably turns to shit again.

I still think Penisini's general output is much better.

I thought he was enormous on the weekend in a team getting dominated.
