Problem is we have Sivo untill the end of 2025. 2 more seasons and he'd be costing over 400k I'd imagine or around that figure.
Last season when he come back from his knee injury he was on fire. Not sure why he is so up.and down but I feel it's laziness.

That’s fine but you specifically defence coach and nothing you’ve said or that’s been commented on anywhere else I can see suggests defence coaching is his specialty.
Just because he may be a better overall coach than Antonelli(?), doesn’t mean Morris is going to be a premiership winning defence coach.

He would benefit our club in any senior coaching role.

The Head Coach and the Assistant Coach in charge of Attack are not available in 2024.

As far as I'm aware, our Assistant Coach of Defence is not contracted for 2024, and the position should be vacant on Friday morning.

And for it to happen either the 16 other teams have all disappeared off the face of the earth or have long-term food poisoning where every player has been ruled out for the season.

He also mentioned that Stefano Utoikamanu has a million get out clauses in his contract. He is the one I would see if we could get back.

Papalii is not missed or needed in our team. We have enough back rowers. We need a reliable front rower that can be a quality and affective 3rd popper that can rotate with the other two and eventually become the A front rower of the team. A 3rd and even 4th quality front rower would be a God send since we don't have any outside backs that can hit it up affectively and we don't seem to be getting any soon. If Emu can come on and be consistently good that will help out, But I would not be banking on him eventually becoming our A middle. He hasn't got the stamina or defensive game to be that and I don't think he ever will.

I would only take Papali’i back as predominantly a prop, if he maintained a decent defence work rate. His edge defence isn’t good enough to be worth it in our current setup.

Brad Arthur talked about being light in the outside backs on 100% footy last week. It’s not like the club isn’t aware of the situation.

and yet they squandered vital salary cap money on crappy edge and middle players this mid season. Genius's. One thing if they actually spent it on a decent forward, but they bought absolute crap and now we are stuck not only with them, but with not enough salary cap space to have a good hit out on a quality outside back that we so desperately need.

what actually is "parra fit" is that where you are gassed after 15 mins but because you get paid so much the coach leaves you on until the 30 minute mark? And the opposition just happen to score 3 tries in that period.
