700k for Sloan?? He has talent but he’s spent the majority of his first grade career whinging. So we move the best effort fullback in the comp for one of the laziest??

If we can get him at the right price maybe but 700k is crazy overs from what he’s produced.
How old is he ? 21. Dude stop with the rants about inconsistency etc. It's more about what player he'll be at 23 or 24. At 21 and at $700k he wont be anyone's marquee. Just a squad with high potential.

Sounds like workplace bullying to me, Gus.

Bulldogs coach Cameron Ciraldo is expected to face some difficult questions in his weekly media conference on Wednesday morning after it emerged that one of his players had taken time off for mental health reasons five weeks ago and hadn't returned after being forced to endure a brutal wrestling session as a 'punishment'.

The Sydney Morning Herald reports that the player is a fringe first grader and was ordered to wrestle as many as a dozen of his teammates after training. The 'punishment' was ordered after the player turned up to the session late.

The Herald reports that the Bulldogs are still paying the player's contract but the club has so far chosen not to comment on the situation.

Walsh is amazing don't get me wrong. But against Canberra he let in 2 tries that Gutherson and Edwards 100% stop so that 12 points. His defense is garbage at this stage and same goes for Sloane.

Had a hand in Ravalawa's 4 tries because of his speed. Moses was pea heart-ish and poor defender too.

Just saying that he's got X-factor and if it's only $700k then that's ground floor cash.
Same guy has lots of brain explosions as well as D issues.
Is he Polishable?

Well can he be as good as Preston's boy ? That's fine when you have our 6 n 7. If he ends up as good as Walsh, then we have a goodin.
Could be. He has talent but like I said he has some Waqa Blake in him. At least hes not another middle I suppose.

That would be awesome. Issue is we have a great 1,6,7

Yeah, that's what I thought when I heard the rumour.

Ideally, we would look to play him in the centres, apparently - but he's keen to play fullback, and I don't think he'd leave the Roosters to come play centre for us...

I think a lot has to do with the backs not doing enough work. Watch what Newcastle and Penrith are doing. The backs are all making big yards and keeping the forwards fresh and running less meters.
Our backs don't do enough work and just aren't strong enough runners of the ball to take many hit ups.
And our coach likes using a thee man bench.
