They were extremely interested in Hunt but then he told them no and they came out with the press release saying they weren't interested.

Nah not moylan, his brotherYou mean Moylan the fullback with the ordinary running game they need to play halfback because their 6 and 7 are cheap nuffies? They could never get another club to pick up his huge contract. And he won't be going to the NFL or French rugby any time soon.

The numbers are dependent on the quality of their team overall, and how much early ball the player gets in attacking positions. Moylan plays behind a good pack and doesn't have to share with any other good playmakers.I said it over 3 yrs ago - Matt Moylan is the best ball player in the game. Oh yeah, I meant his brother Pat Moylan.
I used to play volley ball with their cousin Saturn (Sat) Shat Moylan. You do have to feel sorry for their sister, Scat Moylan. I don't know why their parents thought it'd be a good idea to keep the rhyming scheme with the children's names.
http://www.theherald.com.au/story/4404412/deja-vu-for-fans-as-sims-eyes-exit/NEWCASTLE Knights supporters will perhaps notice a sense of deja vu as they digest the news that Korbin Sims might be joining Brisbane imminently.
According to a Sunday Telegraph report, Sims has been tempted by an offer from the Broncos, and Knights coach Nathan Brown appears prepared to release the 25-year-old from his 2017 contract.
If that is what transpires, it will be in keeping with a couple of similar episodes last year.
At the corresponding stage of 2016, promising back-rower Joseph Tapine signed with Canberra and, despite having a year to run on his deal with Newcastle, he was allowed to leave early.
He proceeded to play in 25 games for the Raiders, including three finals, and was selected to represent New Zealand in two Tests at the Four Nations.
Six months later, Sims’ elder brother Tariq – who after being named as a co-captain declared that he hoped to play out his career with the Knights – requested and was granted a mid-season release to join St George Illawarra.
If Korbin is allowed to emulate his sibling, Newcastle will have the bulk of his salary (reportedly close to $400,00) to spend on a replacement. But whether they can secure a player of his calibre at this late juncture remains to be seen.
By his own admission, Sims “didn’t have the best season” in 2016, copping two suspensions and rarely showing the form that attracted the interest of Queensland Origin selectors a year earlier.
But in terms of NRL appearances (76), he is Newcastle’s senior prop and was shaping as their pack leader for this season.
Without him, Brown’s front-row options will be reduced to Mickey Paea, Sam Mataora, Jack Stockwell, Pauli Pauli, new signing Josh Starling and three of last season’s outstanding prospects, twin towers Daniel and Jacob Saifiti and Josh King.
Releasing Sims might suit him and the Broncos coach Wayne Bennett. But fans are entitled to wonder how it can possibly improve the Knights’ hopes of winning games and avoiding a third straight wooden spoon.
