Sign the best available that you need to fill weak positions, then and only then fill the remaining spots with minimum wage juniors if need be or dross NRL players to make up the required numbers. But until you fill the quality positions first you won't know exactly how much is left for the lesser player spots/positions. Meaning if you have enough left over AFTER you have signed, in our current case, the quality centre and or winger we need, you can either sign a quality junior on say around $200K-$300K or if not just minimum wage players which I think is now $150K.
But don't spend those extra dollars just yet and up front until you know what you actually have left once the weak spots have been filled with quality like for example JAC who may now be available. It's not intergalactic space mining ffs!
