I think the Fox is finding out how ruthless Gus can be when he realises you ain't playing up to your paycheck.
Moreso, Fox is finding out that you can be punted by Gus when he needs your cash for other opportunities that have come on the market.

Listen to his podcast and he will tell you that he's all about the best interests of the player and he and the club come last. LOL

Addo-Carr was approached for comment on this latest rumour and said

"What brah? Me at the Eels hahahahahahahahahahaha.
Yeah nah brah, they're a good team eh and good bunch of fulla's but nah yeah brah, I dunno eh? Could happen... Hahahahahahahahahaha"

Make of that what you will....

Unsure your point. Flanagan may have been "astute" but he was in charge whilst there was doping going on plus had the benefit of years and years of a stacked roster.

Brad Arthur got delivered a paper bag full of fresh turds that was set on fire and left on his door step.

Bullshit. Ricky did and he started the clean out. He also debut Semi and signed by memory Manu Mau and KE. 3 awesome players ready for BA when he took over in 2014. He also had Hayne. In 2014 the Roster was solid.
Add Tonga, Sio, Hopoate,Peats, Junior Paulo, C.Norman,Sandow, N.Peats. and what do you have?
Well two of our best ever players in Hayne and Semi. Hayne won the Dally M that year.
Peats,Hoppa, Tonga where origin players. It was a good squad. We only had to beat one of Canberra or Newcastle to play finals and got pummelled

Because Hopgood is an all round better player. However Matterson is a better defender but still a little precious.
Yep. I think Hopgood will be good for at least 60 minutes a game after this off-season and so we should then lock in Moretti to cover the other 20 minutes. We still have RCG, Paulo, Emu, Offa and Maka as our big middle options, Cartwright, Lane and Tuilagi as edge options, Hands and Lussick sharing hooker duties, halves are sorted, wingers are probably locked in, Fullback is sweet and so really there would be a battle for the other centre spot between Russell, Superman and the great Morgan Harper.

We need a quality outside back more than a quality middle at this stage. Make it happen.

I'm 50-50 on this, not jumping for joy if it comes off and won't lose sleep if it doesn't happen.

Matto has been a good servant and offers good depth across the forward line and impact off the bench but sometimes I feel he plays a bit pretty instead of just rolling the sleeves up.

I'd have rather us have gone after a genuine centre but at this late stage JAC is probably going to be the best quality back available. Will be interesting to see what we can do with a player with genuine speed.... Moses feeding him down a short side gets me a little aroused.

What?

Matto always hit the line and doesnt shirk his responsibilities. This year, he hardly played pretty unless we were chasing points. Last year, his offloads were dynamic

If Guth gets injured, are we sweet?

Russell, Superman, AMS to cover?

Last time when Dyl was out, Asi went to the halves and Mitch played 1.
Another time Dyl played 1 and Asi went to 6.

I dont think Dyl nor Mitch played enough 1 to be really effective if Guth was out for a prolonged period unless they train there in the offseason

You've got to be f**king kidding Matterson, the player who'd rather take a 3 week hiatus rather than put his body on the line for the team. f**k Matterson.
How do you think his teammates felt when they heard Matterson didn't want to pay a 4k fine. What a f**ked up situation. Players from other teams openly said if a player did what Matterson did, they wouldn't want him in the 17. Wake the f**k up everyone

Disagree… there are some games where he comes off the bench and just rips and tears through the middle. Other games he comes on and carry’s it softer than Sivo and then aimlessly flicks it out the back.

As I said though I’m 50-50 I still appreciate what he brings to the team.

That's not I was responding to.

When he is playing, i dont see him shirking his responsibilities although Lemon does. I think he is out and out one of our better performing and consistent forwards.

I am not referring to taking the fine.

Then what's your thoughts on Dyl? Should we get rid of him too? The team was gonna keep it on the low down for the bye and he goes and plays fingers.

What about knees by Reg. Maybe he should've made a better decision and pull out.

What about Jnr, maybe he should pull his finger out

I think you guys probably lose this swap deal if it eventuates. Addo-Carr’s head hasn’t been straight since he came back to Sydney. His best interest is expanding his ‘Let’s Trot’ brand and his image more than his performances on the field. That’s just my thoughts on him as a Dogs fan.

JAC has been one of your better player in his 2 seasons at the Dogs.

I am curious if some posters here don't want Paps also don't want the Fox.

Then what risk are you wanting the club to make to possibly make us stronger.

I don't think what we are doing currently is getting us to the promised land of a premiership.

I saw Joey Manu name thrown out there. Now let's be realistic here Manu would have to be offered 1.4m I reckon to join us.

Is he really worth that much when the Fox could be poached for 500-600k or paps on 800k. What's the bigger gamble out of those 3.

Manu taking out so much of your cap, Papenhuyzen injuries or The Fox who is a dickhead.

At the end of the day we need a circuit breaker. If it means we have to give up Matto then so be it.

You have to give up something to get something in return.

I reckon If we asked Melbourne for Papenhuyzen they would want a player in return as well. Similar to Matto quality.

Time has come to roll the dice the Gutho and Moses era ain't going to be around for ever.

Gotta pounce now and take a risk before it's too late.
