That's not I was responding to.

When he is playing, i dont see him shirking his responsibilities although Lemon does. I think he is out and out one of our better performing and consistent forwards.

I am not referring to taking the fine.

Then what's your thoughts on Dyl? Should we get rid of him too? The team was gonna keep it on the low down for the bye and he goes and plays fingers.

What about knees by Reg. Maybe he should've made a better decision and pull out.

What about Jnr, maybe he should pull his finger out
Thats true mate matto puts in there's absolutely no doubt, but from a team culture point if view, what he did was very difficult to forget

I don’t like Fox, but he’s better than what we have.

I wouldn’t be swapping Matto for him though

Matto’s efforts and impact is understated by many. He plays big minutes, good D, and has great utility value across the park

I’d sooner move on Paulo (and get change back) or even Lane.

I think you guys probably lose this swap deal if it eventuates. Addo-Carr’s head hasn’t been straight since he came back to Sydney. His best interest is expanding his ‘Let’s Trot’ brand and his image more than his performances on the field. That’s just my thoughts on him as a Dogs fan.

Yes right mate you'll be getting a player who'd rather take a holiday than pay a 4 thousand fine and help his teammates lol. You'll be getting a team player haha 😄 😂 😆 🤣 😅

Not sure how people haven’t moved on from this. Matto and club tried to revoke/change the plea multiple times and the NRL rejected it. I don’t think we can shit on a bloke, still 12 months later, for making a rash decision 24 hours after a grand final loss when you would be feeling like you want the world to burn

Bullshit. Ricky did and he started the clean out. He also debut Semi and signed by memory Manu Mau and KE. 3 awesome players ready for BA when he took over in 2014. He also had Hayne. In 2014 the Roster was solid.
Add Tonga, Sio, Hopoate,Peats, Junior Paulo, C.Norman,Sandow, N.Peats. and what do you have?
Well two of our best ever players in Hayne and Semi. Hayne won the Dally M that year.
Peats,Hoppa, Tonga where origin players. It was a good squad. We only had to beat one of Canberra or Newcastle to play finals and got pummelled
Cool story bro. Wooden Spoons 2012 2013 and then it's all yours Brad in 2014. He starts to rebuild with 2014/15 and then after a huge start to 2016 he finds that the f**k knuckles before him and the amateurs currently in charge have been cooking the books.

The context was Flanagan whose finger prints where all over that shit. BA was blind-sided.

Ricky didn't have Semi barely. Hayne at Dally M level, Norman, W.Hopoate, Manu Mau.KE
N.Peats.

I think Brad Arthur loves a project. He would have been a Horse Trainer if he wasn't a Footy Coach.

Would moving junior on though effect the other players in our squad more then matto in terms of a culture point of view.

Now I may be wrong here but while I dont think Matto is unpopular I wouldn't say he seems close enough to anyone in the side that players would miss him if he left.

Certainly on social media it seems.

Matto had his own interests outside the game and always seems like post game in the sheds when the cameras are in there after a win generally away doing his own thing not sitting down having a beer with the lads.

Which is fine everyone is different.

But does everything Matto bring to the table make him so indispensable.

Just need them to act like a big club and do things required to match those at the top
I’d say the difference between the big clubs and the rest isn’t just how they act, but actual resourcing. Everything from geography to the calibre of people willing to devote their time, money and influence to helping the club. Being the people’s team is fine, but it’s the big end of town that decides how your club gets to act. You can’t fake it til you make it.

Penrith are the model for us, but Panthers group is far more profitable than the PLC, and has been for a long time, so they have been able to make sustained investment for longer. They are only reaping the benefits in recent years. Remember when merkins used to take the piss out of them for their five year plan? There are still dopes who think they started winning because they sacked Gould and rehired Cleary. The coach so super he won nothing in his first 15 years.

It wasn't just the day after mate, weeks later matto still defended his decision saying that he had concentrate his money on other things.
Sorry but you are wrong with the 24hr statement

Unsure your point. Flanagan may have been "astute" but he was in charge whilst there was doping going on plus had the benefit of years and years of a stacked roster.

Brad Arthur got delivered a paper bag full of fresh turds that was set on fire and left on his door step.

Brad Arthur was in charge when we cheated... To come last... And has not won a Premiership...

To compare Flanagan to Arthur is a bit of a disservice to Flanagan...

What?

Matto always hit the line and doesnt shirk his responsibilities. This year, he hardly played pretty unless we were chasing points. Last year, his offloads were dynamic

Yep.

Always makes tough carries, and bends the line.

I'd live Addo-Carr, but I'd prefer we offer them Junior.
