Please don't justify their actions with such utter misogynistic bullshit. Next you will be telling me they do it because they like them....

It was a ridiculous statement. Justifying that sort of behaviour.
Any player who is part of domestic violence shouldn't be recruited by our club. If he was a junior that come thru the system then it would be the only BIG maybe about trying to help and giving a 2nd chance. Otherwise forget it.

Well thats the difference between you and I. If my club signed a convicted wife basher, i could no longer support my club, but I understand virtue signalling is easier.
It’s not up to employers to provide extrajudicial punishments for crimes. Most people learn their lesson after the first conviction and no longer represent a risk to the club. This is why the term ‘repeat offender’ has meaning. Some people never learn.

Invoking misogyny is a weasel word. I never said a thing about the gender of the victim. I was talking about violent men. Most victims of violence are other men.

unsourced bullshit

  • 75% of victims of domestic violence reported the perpetrator as male, while 25% reported the perpetrator as female.2

1 in 3 women and 1 in 4 men have experienced some form of physical violence by an intimate partner. This includes a range of behaviors (e.g. slapping, shoving, pushing) and in some cases might not be considered "domestic violence." 1 in 7 women and 1 in 25 men have been injured by an intimate partner.

All those stats are about domestic violence, which conveniently erases crimes against men. DV is a small minority of violent crime. Over half of assault victims and almost 70% of victims of homicide and related offences are men: https://www.abs.gov.au/statistics/people/crime-and-justice/recorded-crime-victims/latest-release

Yet DV dominates media and policy attention. Feminism has reeled you in to the point where nobody gives a f**k about your problems. Nietzsche would be rolling in the grave he shares with Billy Birmingham.

Not for what your selling dipshit.

Once you hand your membership come and talk to me.

Luckily I have had no reason to, so when the Tigers stoop as low as Parra and sign an Au'va, I'll do exactly that. in the mean time Ill just smile and nod ironically as you tell me that men who bash women should be banned and yet pay money to watch them.

Coming from someone who supports a club that had a player sticking his fingers up opposition players backsides, I would have thought you would have handed in your membership a long, long time ago....
As this forums philosopher and rapporteur for the advancement of women rights stated correctly, its a violent sport for violent and simple men. EVERY club has a percentage of violent/stupid merkins. Personally however I think that violence against women is a line in the sand that should never be crossed and a club shouldnt sign or play a player guilty of it. I would hand in my membership if the club signed a player guilty of violence against a woman.

FWIW, tigers sacked Hopoate after the finger poking and in before the morons, sacked Robert Lui.

Well if I should stop because the Eels signed someone in 2016 does that mean because the NRL registered the contract I should stop watching the NRL? And if that's the case I guess you should also stop watching the NRL.

We can go even further to prevent any virtue signaling the NRL is a sport so I should now stop watching any sport.

Wait the NRL is an Austrlaian Sport So I need to denounce Australia? f**k!

Yes lets just smile and nod ironically Mr Virtual signaler

Got nothing to do with employers. I would personally hand in my membership. I could not support my club signing, paying and YES supporting someone guilty of violence against women. YMMV.

Who gives a shit? Are you saying there is no difference between male on male violence and male on female?

Mate Im not sure you know what virtue signalling means.

Why would I stop watching NRL because Parra signed a woman basher? I dont support Parra, I SUPPORT the Tigers. If the Tigers signed, paid and supported someone who bashed women, I could not and would not support them. There is no contradiction in that, in fact I would support the Tigers a little harder when the Tigers played Parra (or NQ when they had Robert Lui) for example.

There is no virtue signalling in my situation. Virtue signalling would be when say a Parra supporter, who supported Parra in 2017-2018 then comes on a forum extolling that anyone guilty of violence on women should be banned, despite supporting Parra 2017-2018. How long have you been supporting Parra joker?

Ok Mr Good Character.....

The NRL registered contracts of Women bashers...

I assume the Tigers play in the NRL?

So by your logic the NRL supported someone who bashed a women.

That would mean you wont watch the NRL anymore.
