It's probably fairer than calling him De Plod. But I think he's a bit better than your assessment. I'd rank about in the middle of NRL hookers. Out of 16 hookers, you rank him about 13th. I rank him about 9th or 10th.

He's 9 or 10th if 6 or 7 dummy halves retire before the start of the season. IMO Bazal was being far too kind.

Games where Peat was injured and De gois came on I felt our Defense lifted. And we didn't lose heaps.
De gois just isn't a threat attacking. While Peats was not explosive he was slightly dangerous and kept markers on toes.
De gois is better at milking a penalty for offside. Id prefer a more attacking hooker but aslong as can get your 20+ points elsewhere it wont matter.

He'll be probably the fourth worst starting hooker in the NRL this coming season as it stands. He's a better player than Lichaa, McInnes, and Kostyasathingamy. Very solid, reliable defender but offers very little in attack and ordinary service. I reckon that's a pretty fair assessment?

WTF is wrong with his service? You do realise every other dummy half throws bad passes from time to time. These blokes pass the ball over a hundred times a match. Every club's fans think their dummy half offers the worst service. De Gois has fewer errors than most. Also has more experience.

Terepo has played 74 games over four seasons. He is 25 years old, married, with kids. He is old enough and experienced enough to know better.

Well when you don't have to worry about decision making, engaging the markers or offering anything other than a pass I'd say it's much easier than passing, running or any type of play making. Not surprised Pou championing the cause of our biggest weakness in the side.

You don't think he makes decisions on the field? I'd say that's exactly why he's in the team.
