I thought Cleary was a very, very talented player, but did not consider him a GOAT-calibre player yet.

After his Grand Final heroics, he's definitely entered the conversation in my eyes.

I still think that a GOAT needs to dominate at rep level, which Nathan has not yet done; it's why I think Andrew Johns, Johnathan Thurston, and Darren Lockyer are just above him right now in the GOAT stakes.

But Cleary is young, and has plenty of time left to show he is a dominant rep halfback.
Is still give it to cammo

I was just watching the replay of our round 4 Golden Point win over Penrith last year.

That 40m field goal Cleary kicked with 10 seconds left...

I'm not sure Moses would ever be capable of something like that.

Moses has the talent - I'm not sure he has the temperament.

I am not sure any halfback apart from Cleary could kick that.

It is funny though in the same game Moses kicks the winning field goal.

If he's worth $1.2 million, then there isn't enough money in the world to properly value Cleary...

Where was Luai in the Grand Final when the Panthers were down?

It was Nathan Cleary who stood up, and single-handedly dragged Penrith back into the game.
Luai was on the bench I think. Remember had dodgy shoulder and was replaced towards end of game.

Hilarious. I did the same thing. It was more the way they managed it. Didn't panic the last set. Kicked for touch and put it out the perfect spot to give him a chance for a shot.

It was simply amazing, just the sheer audacity to have set plays for a particular moments in games. Well we all know it’s not the coaches job so Cleary is a genius.

Definitely hits as hard as a block of granite... But offsets that by butchering tries at an increasingly alarming rate. Bellamy knows when to cut these sorts of guys loose. I'd steer clear...

Yeah but Moses kicked the winning field goal in that game.
