Yeah, he is very strong and good at taking runs out of his own end. Can barge over for a try as well.
His defence, however, is piss poor. His decision making is Waqa-like, and misses his fair share of tackles. Lets in as many tries as he scores, if not more.

Yeah, but Penrith are a top-quality side. It's hard to beat them.
The penalty from Junior almost killed us. It was completely unnecessary, and the field goal from Cleary was absolute genius.

We were very lucky that they also conceded a penalty in extra time, and great work from the team to get the field goal, especially Matterson and RCG who did some great runs and quick play the balls to keep the defence on the back foot, and of course Moses for icing the kick. It wasn't that easy, he had to step to his right quickly and take the shot to avoid the chargedown.

I go on what I see as well. The difference is that the stats support what I see. If they didn’t then I would consider my perceptions to be flawed by emotion, as is often the case when watching players/teams you love (or hate).

Agree that Hands has a good running game and is anything but slow - and the eye test proves it.

For mine, Lussick would play the first 55 and Hands the back end to hit the accelerator

However, I find it curious that you mercilessly shit-canned Hands last year to bolster your defence of the clubs signing of Hodgson, but now it suits your argument to defend Hands.

No, I just pointed out his flaws while merkins were excitedly overrating him. Much like how I pointed out Hodgson's qualities as merkins indulged in the other end of the hyperbole scale.

Hands was decent and Hodgson was decent in 2023. But the way you merkins were carrying on, Hands was an Origin bolter while Hodgson was slow, weak, injury prone, and had forgotten everything he ever knew about dummy half play.

No it's not. It's up to me to point out that choice of stats can be selective. Pou's post implied that his point of view was the only one that was supported by (his selective) stats, which is pure nonsense.
