Im not comparing the two teams. Parra have been much more successful than the Tigers clearly. I'm responding to you denigrating the Tigers efforts to rebuild. Seems that you think we should have kept Sheens, Pascoe & Hagipantellis.

I mean he is no Mark ONeill but Richo was successful at Sharks, Penrith, Souffs, all the while keeping his clothes on......but somehow we shouldnt have signed him as CEO because he accepted the offer? You are right, should have stayed with Pascoe...safer.
No I think your club had to ‘do something’ just to give the fans some hope. I’ll just be surprised if there’s any improvement in the medium/long term. And if there’s short term improvement it’ll more likely be reversion to mean. Just like how we’re likely to improve this year despite making no significant changes.

Listen merkin.
We've had the muggiest day in the history of Sydney. Half of us have gone down with a chaffed anus. Show some compassion.

Ah ok....that now makes sense....
Tigers have been on a steady decline for 12 years, culminating in successive spoons and then sacked the coach, the entire coaching staff other than Benji, sacked every halfback we had, sacked the entire board, sacked the chairman, sacked the CEO, sacked the guy in charge of welfare, sacked Ronny Palmer, sacked the poor old bastard who was gear steward and then.....replaced the CEO with the guy who took Cronulla, Penrith & Souffs from the bottom to the 8, hired as assistant coach the guy who took Cronulla back to the 8, signed the NSW U20 5/8 who has repped Samoa already...................but nothing will change.

However Parra does nothing and that will result in unabated improvement.

Cant argue with logic like that Pou....and I am aware of being trolled....so I wont.

Tigers will improve their ladder position much like the dogs did last year.

Repping Samoa in the halves isn't the greatest achievement when the other option is Mason Lino

*EDIT* Dogs didn't improve their ladder position, just had a look it felt like they did. There's still a long way to go for the tigers, coming off consecutive last place and 12 years of declining. It'll take at least half as long to see any effects of turning it around

They might, they should, I expect them to.....but they might not but to take it back to the point of rebutting Pou's denigration of the changes at the Tigers, when I watch my team play, as a first point and as a minimum I want and expect them to have a crack. I hope for the same from the owners/management of the club. Sacking the entire board, replacing Pascoe with Richardson, replacing Brooks/Wakeham/Will Smith with Sezer/Fainu/Sullivan is pretty clearly having a crack and at this stage, I'm very happy with what is going on with the club for a change.

At 17/18yo without playing in the NRL its pretty impressive (played against England).

Probably right and therefore what matters is that every step they take is forward and for the last 6 months they have been. Even little things like stopping the leaks in the media.

Apologies for this level of Tigers talk in your forum. I understand its out of place, just fell into the Pou trap.

It's no different to how nothing changed when you brought in Maguire, Cleary or all these expensive players. As for sacking the board, it'll only lead to improvement if they're replaced with better people. You might say "BuT tHeY'rE tHe WoRsT aNd AnYoNe Is An ImPrOvEmEnT!!!!" but I'm telling you it's not true. There's potentially 8 billion humans out there who would be worse performers than the former Tigers board. Of the relatively small pool of humans who are both willing and able to operate as NRL board members, most of them would still be worse than the old Tigers board. There just aren't that many good ones out there.

Because we had a greater than usual share of bad luck last year. If we have an average amount of luck (reversion to mean) we should finish somewhere around the bottom of the eight. If we have very good luck we could make the grand final or even win it. Like when the top teams shat themselves and the Tigers faced the fifth placed Cowboys in the grand final back in the day. Luck is always a factor.

Of course when you distort my argument and present a strawman you can win any argument you like.
