I love these rule changes every season. They add to the excitement.....I practically stopped watching any games apart from the eels games until the past few seasons cause it was so boring and orientated around repeat sets....whoever enjoys that is a cooker

I’ve never had, or heard, a conversation where someone said “you know what, I reckon when you go for a short drop out and it doesn’t go 10m, it shouldn’t be a penalty” or “if you kick it dead on the full from a dropout, a penalty is too severe a punishment”.

on that basis, it’s a stupid and completely unnecessary rule change.
