Just on Waqa, he was obviously a good player. He simply got the massive yips Ian Baker-Finch style. Yes his career ended up a resembling a junked corolla, but at his best he was inarguably a ferrari.

Thorman was playing behind the worst forward pack the NRL has ever seen.

You’ve said it twice now but that pack had a pre-injury Hindy and early Fui, plus Caylo & Wags. I don’t recall the specifics of their performance that year but that’s the makings of a good pack including the best backrower at the time.
The only thing I do remember from that year is Lyon being a weak gutted dog person

I'm also in the boat of having done it.... respect to GWS for the deal. It's kind of like taking a WSW membership years ago so that we got a new stadium!

As a club we are so poor in this space, we haven’t updated memberships for some time and as for information from the CEO and HOF , soft and nowhere. We haven’t even been updated on NRLW signings etc, from what we have been made aware, the club only has about 10 players signed, amateur hour.

True, if you look at our teams they still have players listed that have left and no photos of most of the players along with little profile details.

The AFL membership with free Kayo is a good deal. The NRL really should do the same.

The question is, how may of those savvy NRL fans have suddenly become members of GWS just for the Kayo?

They won nine games that year.

They played terribly.

Those forwards you mentioned - Cayless played 9 games, Fui played 1, Wags played 23, Hindy played 21.

Meanwhile, Stapleton played 15, Pearson 10; we had superstars like O'Dwyer, and Tsoulos stinking it up.

It was a trash side, even with Hindmarsh in it.
