They won nine games that year.

They played terribly.

Those forwards you mentioned - Cayless played 9 games, Fui played 1, Wags played 23, Hindy played 21.

Meanwhile, Stapleton played 15, Pearson 10; we had superstars like O'Dwyer, and Tsoulos stinking it up.

It was a trash side, even with Hindmarsh in it.
Yeah I still think you’re being unnecessarily harsh on the pack. Hindy was the Dally M backrower, Wags was still good. Widders was becoming the best bench forward in the game. Stapleton was serviceable for part of the real problem that year - injuries and suspensions. Caylo and Cannings both missed basically the entire year.
I especially think it’s harsh because I don’t think it’s even the worst Eels pack of all time, let alone NRL

Look, I was probably a bit harsh.

But it was still a reaally weak pack, despite the inclusions of Caykess, Wagon, and Hindmarsh.

Tsoulos, Stapleton, Armitt, and Pearson all got game time that season. That is pretty ghastly if you ask me.

Especially because it’s the last shred you have left
That just comes with the territory of being a Parramatta fan though. I do have a full head of hair left so at least I’m not completely lost yet.

Also if I’m being honest I just cancel Kayo when the footy isn’t on anyway.

Very frustrating that the NRL doesn’t have an equivalent deal.
I think the NRL could do more with the actual apps.

Go to the Parramatta app and it's outdated and a mess to get around. All clubs it's run by the same provider so all clubs apps are the same.

Surely by 2024 the apps for clubs news and content could be a whole lot better.

It's easier getting to content on the actual website on a desktop then an app on the phone. Which I think is a bit ridiculous.

I think check out our 2013 pack

So what is the story with Blaize's contract setup? Not an NRL Top 30 or Development Contract according to the NRL website. Not in the Team Liat photos on the Parra website, which appears to now just be the NRL Top 30 players.

Yeah it's weird. I'd say it's an oversight by whichever media team runs the digitals. Probably doesn't reflect the most current contract renewal information. I suspect Talagi is top 30, or development list at the very least.

I have heard with pretty good authority that all three of those punchees are actually quite decent blokes off the field. It really f**ked up my world view.
I don't really remember Matai or Hodges doing anything too egregious off the field, Matai was just a hard merkin and Hodges a trackhead on the field, so I can buy that. f**k Billy Slater though that f**k head I don't care what anyone says.

Not sure about Steve Matai.

But yes i cant look at Justin Hodges the same ever again after I met him at Adelaide Oval at a function before the origin the last year. Hodgo come up started talking to me and my old man and even went up to the bar and got us a beer from was a ripper to talk too for half an hour before he went on stage to talk with the chief harrigan

Considering what a grub he was as a player. I can't really say that about him anymore as a person.
