If his surname was Arthur, there’d certainly be a lot more comment about him not being ready after the Canberra trial

100% He would have been slammed even more.

He didn't have a good game in attack especially in the second half. He did defend well and didn't shy from taking a run.

I just hope he doesn't waste his career by chasing a first grade spot at 19-20 down at Canberra. He does have a few years of development required and Ricky won't be patient.

Just ask Savage.

Let's see what he's made of after playing at least 10 games in reserve grade. You can see the kid has potential. It's different doing it against 18 and 19yr olds than against seasoned players.
I hope he plays well and stays at parra too. He's only very young and I don't think learning from Weekes and Fogarty is anywhere near as good as learning from Moses, Brown and Gutho

Where’s all the chat about the Bennett to Eels article?!!
FWIW, Ive thought Tigers would be a better fit for him in that role if he was considering it with a Sydney Club. Previous connection to Richo and Benji. Benjo being a rookie coach easy to sell teh idea of the master coach tutoring a disciple. A club nailed to the bottom so easier to make improvement etc.

Would be a weird and disruptive move at Parra IMO. Baldy has been there a LONG time and it would be late in his career to start taking advice from others. You guys did make a GF 18 months ago....

I'm trying hard not to put you on ignore as I can't help but think, you trying to get some attention on this forum perhaps may be the only thing from you having an overdose inside the graffiti covered crack den you call a club house on Victoria Road.

There is zero evidence for this.

If he does leave, and the chances are he will, I hope it's to the Raiders cos there would be a great chance of us getting him back ib about 3 seasons. If he were to go to the Panthers, it would be almost impossible trying to get him back after playing for them and along side the Chin.

Moses and Drown are our halves combination for the next 5 years.

If Sanders goes well he goes. You don't get many quality players happy to play the backup role.

Its not really an issue unless he is a gun from the start we are basically going backwards for 2-3 years while he gets up to speed with the NRL which is a rarity.

Moses and Drown we have invested 5 years in together and Moses we have done 7 years already. So why pull out now its not like the results have been so dire like a Luke Brooks who needs a fresh start.

Moses has his critics and I still think he lacks nailing the clutch moments on a consistent basis like a Cleary or a DCE. But he is the 3rd or 4th best halfback in the game right now and will be for another 5/6 years. Halves get better as they age.

Panfers have lost alot of halves - O'Sullivan, Cogger, Luai, Salmon (though not really)

He'll end up at the dogs or some other qld team

If Sanders has 500k per season thrown at him. What would Moses be worth?

Sanders may end up an elite player, but that could be 5+ years away, even more...

not to mentin the fact that we just don't know how good he will be

not all juniors translate into class NRL players

I think we've gone with the "bird in the hand" attitude as we know just how good Mitch and Dylbro are
