Defensively I actually prefer this to Simonsson/Sivo....

Morgan Harper is a better centre than Simonsson. He is more steady and has less brain fart in him.

Any reason why we can’t debut Blaize on the wing? At least he’s quick. Simonsson is crap on the wing.

He is our new masseuse. He did an online course in the off season.

There were suggestions that he had a health issue that had to be sorted that was causing problems and that has been addressed. If we are talking fitness problems, I would argue that he looks fitter and more committed than Sivo.

I can’t recall Sivo ever being 20 metres behind while Penisini looks around begging for a winger to put over untouched. There was a moment last week where it happened to Dunster again.

I was a Dunster fan. I reckon if things had worked out differently he could’ve already been where Russell looks like he’s going to reach this year. He was carrying the ball well, defence was competent and he was generally safe. That injury f**ked him hard.

Sivo may be rocks and diamonds but right now his diamonds are unachievable for Dunster, and I haven’t seen much from Dunster yet to say his standard is honestly that far above a Sivo rock game

The muppets in charge will probably think they can't afford to lose him because he is some sort of fan favourite.

I think the chant is getting a bit embarrassing because he doesn't really deserve it anymore like he did at the start of the his career.

Unless it's a piece of individual brilliance from him which we don't really see anyway.

See my only concern is that cini Lumelume and dunster are the next in line and that scares me...talagi will be good but don't think ready yet...hopefully Simonsson isn't injured..although Harper I thought played well barring 1 silly kick...anyways go u mighty eels

My concern has just been elevated...we need to sign another outside back ASAP.
Canberra have waaay too many with Rapana confirmed fullback.
They have Timoko a lock at centre then Seb Kris, Cotric, Hoppa, Schiller, Savage, Asomua, Chevy Stewart all vying for centre/ wing spots...
I would now be going Simonsson and Harper centre and wing providing Simonsson is fit...
MON needs to get on the blower quickly and get a back who may not like current environment and wants out to come to us immediately...
Isaiah Tass or Isaac Thompson may struggle to get 1st grade this yr...but Campbell Graham that's given one of them a reprieve.
What about the Feagai Bros?
I'm still a fan of getting Savage.
All these blokes ive mentioned are all better than Cini, Lume and Dunster who are now a bees dick away from a 1st grade spot especially if Simonsson is out as well....we've needed recruitment in the backs and haven't delivered especially with AMS and Penisini Jnr copping bad injuries....rant over

If we use Harper or Dunster, or even a young fringe player, or whom ever it is shows that they can defend on the wing then it should make it very hard for Sivo to get back in.

It seems obvious that the coaching staff cant do anything with him to help his defense.

He scored a try yesterday, sure, but he let a few in so he finished the day in the red

The real problem is he doesn’t contribute enough elsewhere to make up for the shit defence. Sure he can put the ball down over an open try line, but every other aspect of the game he just looks like a lazy merkin. Guru jr couldn’t defend to save his life, but the merkin ran the ball hard regardless of what was in front of him.
