The use of Hands had every right to be questioned. We basically played with 15 blokes the other night as Bailey was gone after 2 mins and Hands played the last 3 mins. Its hard enough to beat Penrith with 17 let alone 15.

If Hands isn't going to be used then what he is doing in the 17 like its a complete waste.

Is bullshit that you need to give decent minutes to the entire bench. In a world where plenty of forwards play 80 minutes, there aren’t enough minutes remaining to give everyone else a decent run. The Panthers lost a forward after 25 minutes and one of their bench players only got a minute at the very end.

Why wasn't Hands, who got no time, put there? Can tackle and is faster or why wasn't Dyl going to centre in D with Kelma moving towards middle? Both those would have been better and not involved much brain power. Even I could see it during match so why didn't BA?

It’s obviously not a better option or we would’ve done it. That three in position is very important in the defensive line. It’s decisions made there that influence what everyone else does.

Pou jnr, do you think the constant scramble to cover those breaks might have lead to our fatigue so we were hopeless in the second half in attack? Dropped balls and mistakes are symptoms of fatigue.

They should be scrambling on every play anyhow. If you only start scrambling when a break is made you’re too late.

The reason we were fatigued is because Cartwright and Matterson were pulled out of our middle rotation, putting extra pressure on our starters.

In the private sector is it considered a failure if you don’t have the biggest company each year? Parra makes the finals 80% of the time. That’s what success looks like for most clubs, including ours.

And you assume it would have been if we’d replaced Simonsson with Hands or Cartwright ffs

If they were better edge defenders than Tuilagi that’s where they would have played. Hands is a reserve grader and Cartwright moves to the middle when Tuilagi comes on (assuming no injuries).

Saying ‘we lost so any other decision would’ve led to a win’ is typical dopey footy fan logic. You have zero proof your shit suggestion would’ve led to a win, so without proof I’m telling you now, any of your suggestions would’ve led to us losing by 50. QED.
