Rumours and Stuff

Just saying a fact is irrelevant might be easy to do, but it doesn’t make it so.
But it doesn't make it not so.
You have proven you will contradict anything I say, so your opinion is worthless.
I will contradict anything you say which is wrong, and hence my opinion is of much worth - given you continue to post incorrectly on here about so so many things 😂.
I am the only person here who replies to you, and only because you feel the need to comment on my every post.
I don't care of your (incorrect) perception of who replies to me. However I accept your reason for why you choose to reply to me - which is as equally valid as my reason for correcting... er, replying to your posts.

And Covid only impacted our spending and our club, apparently...

We don't know how Covid impacted the other clubs, but if they were privately owned by entities that grew wealthier during Covid (i.e. not pokie dens) there was no reason for them to suddenly become stingy. There is certainly no proof that Covid impacted all clubs equally as you imply.

And suddenly every decision the club made was wrong? Give it a rest. This is what it looks like between premiership windows. The reason they're called windows is because they open and shut.

Reading all the doom and gloom you'd think nobody at the club knew what it took to be competitive. We'll be back, but we're going to have to be patient.
Not without a full scale rebuild starting with the front office, coaching staff and payer roster.
but then I guess the question is, what is success and many people will have many versions.
success for me will be to win the premiership within the next 3-5 years

Exactly, but what is the purpose of a business? It’s not ‘being the best’, it’s not even winning footy games. The purpose of a business is to make money. The purpose of a business that runs an NRL club is survival. Hard to hear for a fan that only cares about winning, but there it is.
Football, from a club's perspective, is to be successful AND make money. And in football money follows success, they're interlinked and always have been. So for club management the first rule of business is success first, and should always be first, and money will come thru increased memberships, merch sales, sponsorship and attendance at games. And if your successful survival is never in question.

Thanks for admitting your original statement was invalid.
There is certainly no proof that Covid impacted all clubs equally as you imply.
And there is no proof it impacted us more extremely than the majority of other clubs, as you originally inferred.

Thanks again for having one of your obvious nonsense posts corrected 😊
