Reece Robinson playing for the Tahs right now. Go Reece.

Translates to

Should read:

"Three more for Robinson, again due to a forced penalty from Tolu."

But the gist was right.

Oh, Bee Tee Dubs - el castellano/español es el idioma de mis padres; siendo chilenos, me enseñaron castellano.

I didn't mean for it to sound condescending and/or arrogant, but I think it might have. I apologise.

Gus' season preview... is bullish about the prospects of all 16 teams without really committing to anything in his comments.

Late in the season he can point to the surprise packet team and say 'remember my article? I was high on them before the season started'.

Onya Gus....

i like how he doesn't pick anybody as premiers or wooden spooners doesn't want to be found out at the end of the year

I suspect the virtual line will be pretty accurate. Its 2017 FFS. Its not like some gibbon will be in the control room with a ruler and a red pen...

I don't like the idea of it though. Sometimes teams are back 8m, sometimes they are back 12. As long as it is consistent from game to game, who cares...
Usually you don't get a wide shot of the field to judge whether defenders are onside or not. Would be interesting if offside penalty given if replayed with virtual line shown. Would then see if any refs showing bias or not.

As I have said before, think we should really go after Jayden Brailey from the Sharks if we want to take a punt on a player and not the injury prone Nathan Peats. Nathan, as good a competitor as he is, will not have a long first grade career due to many injuries and never fully reach his potential. He would be very lucky to anyway.

At present he would be worth around that $400k mark, but we would get very little value out of it due to his constant injuries. Therefore, we should throw that sort of money at the best emerging junior dummy half in the NRL, not a proven busted that tries very hard.

Jayden by all accounts has the temperament, skill and defensive prowess to be a first grader already and it will not surprise me at all if he is the sharks 1st choice hooker already this coming season.

Well one of our middle forwards will likely be making way for him if we go down that route. So who's it gonna be? One of the 3 we've signed for this year and beyond in Matagi, Vave or Brown? Or the ageing fella on decent coin whose salary could go along way towards getting JT if we were to free it up? Or maybe Mannah? But he just Re-signed for 3 years.

Nothing to do with how many middle forwards make up a team, just speculating on who, out of the current ones we have, are most likely to make way... And I wouldn't be at all surprised to see Scott pull the pin at the end if this season, just a feeling ...
Well Moeroa still not re-signed and Scott getting older. Would be a fantastic buy but then again Moeroa has the potential (but yet to show it) and would be cheaper. Mannah, under the cap, probably costing us peanuts with long serving player discount and probably re-signed for same or less than previous years.
