And you don't seem to understand that just because you strong arm someone with a "reward" rather than an obvious threat, doesn't make for any less a coerced response....
No. You attempted to use the term to connect the offering of cash in this case to one of domestic violence....Despite the fact that neither the dictionary, nor legal definitions, of coercion include the offering of money to someone to get them to do something that they otherwise wouldn't do.
I can tell you with 100% certainty that offering a cash payment to somebody is not coercion. But I've said that before and it doesn't seem to make any difference.
