Yep, and that's why I think re-signing Norman should be first order of business. Hayne or whoever else should be dealt with later.

I hear ya... but it sounds like his youth and/or inexperience is only one factor impeding his performance at the moment. That can be developed and he's worth a punt on that alone... It's his alleged attitude issues that might see him a less likely signing proposition

Another potential option is Kodi Nikorima.

Haven't seen a lot of him play, but does play some dummy half so his defence might be ok. And the storm are chasing him as a halves partner for cooper, and they don't normally chase crap.

We won't be winning the comp next year regardless. Let's just make the semis first. There will be good halves off contract next year and one of them can lead us to a premiership in 2018, much like the Sharks' brand new halves might do this year.
