Miatch / 40/20 / Obscene, just curious, have you guys seen anything at training /in the lower grades to indicate French has a kicking game ?

I'm certainly no expert, but from my observations I'd put him at about Gutho's level of kicking game (still developing his short range attacking kicks and founding open space long range). with that said, he was doing quite a bit of kicking at yesterday's session so it might be something BA wants to potentially employ.

IMO - it's certainly usable and developing, but well short of Corey's.

Obviously Gutherson is probably starting in the halves next year but a lot are understandably questioning his kicking.

But if French was also a kicking option (similar too Coote does from fullback), he may take a lot of pressure of our halves.

Minus the word "probably". He's locked in.

I think that's precisely French's role kicking wise - the third option. Also keep in mind Taka's kicking ability - the spreading it to Taka on the last who then kicks behind the wingerless defence (or passes it to an open Josh Hoffman) is a favourite BA play.

I came onto the site for a bit of footy chatter in the off season and all I get is 2 kids in kindergarten having a hissy fit in the sand pit over who has the dump truck.
As adults (I think) I'm sure you can do better, maybe see who has the bigger dick or who can piss higher up the wall!

Bev's kicking practice has basically been from a couple of passes wide of centre field and the kicks have been aimed to sit near the corner post. I see this as readying himself for if it is run on the last and there is nothing on or if the main kicker is pressured.
The Guth is putting good quality and quantity into his kicking drills. I think people are gonna be surprised at what he has to offer in this department
I am not worried about the kicking game for next year
