NRL set to clear Willis Meehan to play for Parramatta Eels next week

THE NRL is set to clear former Sydney Roosters bad boy Willis Meehan to play for Parramatta next week.
A superb all round athlete and junior boxing champion, Meehan has been desperate to kick-start his league career after being sacked by the Roosters following an assault charge in 2015.
Last week I wrote that Meehan had agreed to terms with the Eels but the stumbling block was getting cleared by the NRL Integrity Unit.
But sources have told me that Meehan – who has been likened in build and style to the great Sonny Bill Williams – will get the green light to join the Eels next week.
A former Australian amateur super-heavyweight champion, Meehan, aged still only 21, has unfinished business in boxing.
He has a bout scheduled in Sydney next Friday against Danny Rio and the Eels have agreed to let him fight one more time before resuming his league career.
Meehan played one top grade game for the Roosters in 2014 and will be a handy mid-season addition to the aggressive Eels pack.
And this coming from someone who's been banging on about Alex Twal ... please!
What's wrong with Alex Twal.
He is still very young for a prop, 21 I think, and Cleary has obviously seen something in him to sign him on a long deal.
I'll make a bet with you Staggs. I'll bet Twal plays more NRL games than Alvaro will.
Oh dear...
you deadset have nfi...
Cleary got him on the cheap and he'll even struggle to make that 17 ... he couldn't tie Alvaro's shoe laces
Make a bet with some douche on a forum who I'll probably never meet?Dear o dear o dear.
I need say no more here.
And why are you swearing, are you afraid to make the bet ?

I tell you what, come and see me when Twal actually makes his first grade debut or else don't even waste my time,
Now for that Hayne rumour..??
Surely Guth moves to the centres and Taka moves to the bench or Wenty. Guth is a much better defender than Taka and I'd argue just as good attack.Don't put your house on that Chiefy.
Period.
I can see BA wanting a non-stop worker to counter what he gets from the others at times.
1. French
2. Semi
3. Jennings
4. Taka
5. Gutherson
6. Norman
7. Moses
8. Alvaro
9. Pritchard
10. Vave
11. Ma'u
12. Moeroa
13. Brown
14. Scott
15. Meehan
16. Edwards
17. Mannah
I reckon by Round 18 barring injuries.
Listen, we can make a bet just on bragging rights.
Put your money where your mouth is - Twal to play more NRL games than Alvaro in 2018 !
Let's see who is the better judge big guy !!!!
And if you lose, you can change your silly avatar.
Please... bragging rights??
I don't do dick measuring contest with amateurs but thanks anyway...
end of the day if you choose Twal ahead of Alvaro than you've got a lot to learn my friend..
now when's that Hayne signing going to be announced I've just bought a bottle of Moët and $100 worth of streamers when can I celebrate his return??
Mate you are afraid to put your reputation at risk, because you know Alvaro will have limited chances next year.
And I'll be opening my bottle of moet when Toupu arrives.
You want a bet, you name the price.
For those wondering just how big Willis Meehan is these days:
