Yet people continue to make excuses for these pea hearts!
They have not a single care in the world right now for this team or club, I think probably 3-4 players could walk around with heads up. The rest don’t deserve to be paid at the moment.

Something has/is happening that has caused such an about face in attitude. I suppose only the squad knows. The cracks are there and it wont be long until the leaks start to the media.

You're right, we need to improve our performances, like we did early last year when you thought our forwards were too small.

They were to small, but we got away with it for reasons that I and others have already explained on here ad nauseam.

But this is a new and different season and you seem to want to live in the past and bask in the glory of last years fleeting and short lived modest success.

The facts are we are 0 from 4. We have played some of the better teams of this years competition and and we have been shown to be wanting in a number of areas. Last years draw was very favorable to Parra. This year not so much and it shows. It isn't going to get much better either.

We should be planing for next year already. In fact if we have enough salary cap space, I would be trying to get a big bopper from another team for this year right now. I would even be willing to trade one or two of our many worker clone, drone forwards to make enough space to get a big mother effen grunt pig who hurts the freakin opposition.

How well did the Cowboys' big pack serve them in the grand final? They were outclassed, not overpowered.

To outclass them they had to at least equal them in muscle. Which they did. Just look at the way they contained Taumalolo at different parts of that game.

Possession usually comes your way when you have control and winning at most aspects of the game. In the second half the Tigers eased off just that little bit and we pounced. That's all it takes in the NRL. But the Tigers had done enough to win the game.

But don't let that second half fool ya. We were still proper shit. The only flicker of a positive note came from that big body T-Rex and Moses using him the right way and causing havoc out wide when they went that way. It is amazing, one big body that threw his weight around, and has an offload and we caused all sorts of trouble for the Tigers.

Imagine if we had a few more of those types in the team. Yes Pou, I know he is a shit defender. I get it. Not all big bodies are shit defenders though. So it is a balance. We just don't have the right mix by a long shot.

But they didn’t equal them in muscle, just like they didn’t overpower us in our semi final. They took Taumalolo out of the game by limiting where and when he could run the ball.

He still got his ten metres per carry. But he only made 12 runs.

I agree possession comes from determination and composure. But that is independent of how big your forwards are. We dominated possession in round one and two last year and beat much bigger packs at their home ground. This year we’ve lacked determination and composure, and nitwits like you want to trot out the whole we’re-too-small argument again.

So when we’ve had no possession and conceded tries it suits your narrative, but in the two halves when we’ve had some ball and racked up some points you just put it down to the opposition not having a go.
