Rumours and Stuff

They must be pre-existing ones (we know Jennings has a couple from before he joined us) because there was a statement by Max or Bernie that we weren't going to f**k around with TPAs any more. Obviously this was in reference to using them as enticements to sign players. If managers want to find their clients TPAs they still need to be registered with the NRL, but they aren't assisting our recruitment or retention.

Delboy is correct about the TPA's. If they didn't have any he would be into them about this too

True. Evans played the week before when they beat Brisbane. He didn't play in the loss to the Cowboys the next week.

Evans apparently training well. If he comes good we may have some big boys in our pack.
Alvaro has added 7kgs. Maybe his bog avergae attack will become slightly above average. Throw in his ability to offload more, pass before line and tackle everything he maybe a top shelf prop.

My point was that they didn't know they could get Siebold, just like they didn't know they could get Green or Bellamy. Yet they were prepared to get rid of Bennett anyway.

Souths seemed keen on Bennet. Dont think they even looked elsewhere.
Seibold I reckon maybe a gimmick coach. I felt like teams started to work souths style out the last few months of the season. Plus he had guys who had career years.
Lets see how he goes with Brisbane.

They had already signed Seibold. They knew Souths were happy to let him go. In the end it was about whether or not they would have to offer Bennett a full payout to leave.

They hadn't signed anyone when they told Bennett he was not wanted. So I'd say he was being held accountable for the team's performance.
Except there was nothing wrong with the team's performance. All this 'held accountable' shit is just drama created by fans and journos after the fact. Successful organisations engage in succession planning and that's what is happening at the Broncos.

Massive decline since that day in 2010.
We were already in decline in 2010. It didn't start turning around until Arthur joined, and I believe it was structures implemented by Kearney (particularly recruitment) that were mostly responsible for that. It's worth noting that Kearney signed Nolan (and Arthur) to the club. Unfortunately he also rolled the dice on Sandow, which cost him his job here.

But the point is we were on the decline since Smith left. An eighth place death rattle (and finals run) in 2009 didn't mean we were on the way back up. 2010 was more of the same.

Whether you liked Ando or not he should never of been sacked. It was a shit decision and we still haven’t recovered.
If Anderson was a good coach he would have found work post-Parramatta. Even Kearney and Stuart are still coaching in the NRL, though at shit clubs.

Still remember the day clearly. Will go down as a dark day in our clubs history, that’s led us to this shit sandwich we’ve been fed ever since.
