That's an opinion and as it is not demonstrably incorrect, you're entitled to it.Assuming that this is correct, is it money best spent? From the NT's government's POV, what do they get out of it that's so rewarding? From the Eels POV I don't see too much incentive to play there other than giving up a round that could be played at Bankwest in the name of promoting the game in a place where NRL isn't a thing. If we're going to continue to foster these games then we should be taking them off-shore. Fiji, Samoa, Tonga and PNG are better options for mine.
I was questioning the relevance of Darwin games going forward as I've seen no real NT development of the game since we've been playing there. MJC set me straight on that score, $$$, local development, etc. Not everyone is privy to that type of info and I have no issue at all with taking the game elsewhere than Parra. I'd just understand it a whole lot more if we were playing our traditional home games at a shithole. Why are you so against another income stream for the club? This is a substantial one too.
Plus the NRL are keen and pretty much mandate teams taking games to different regions, so whether it is NT, Grafton, Fiji whatever you seem to have a massive issue with it?
You can feel how you want but it is weird is all.
You're being far too kind to Darwinians. J/k, i've never been there.I was questioning the relevance of Darwin games going forward as I've seen no real NT development of the game since we've been playing there. I've spoken to people who have lived there. Charles Darwin's theory of evolution makes some valid points, especially when selective breeding is a topic. They make Penrith look like Vaucluse. You're being far too kind to Darwinians. J/k, i've never been there.
I bet he will be back, ready. We play them in Darwin in 7 weeks.
I'd argue that point with anyone else Baz but as we both know that you know everything, I am happy to take your word for it. Thanks for clarifying that for me.No, you're wrong.
If that's meant to be some kind of backhanded compliment, you should know that flattery will get you everywhere.I've spoken to people who have lived there. Ready for 35 degrees.I bet he will be back, ready.
Bro settle down. I got it. You could apply your pic to yourself lol. Now let's cut this out before it becomes a snowball. My bad, I should have put a "lol" at the end.
Although joke is being kind to my effort but there's no meme for "silly one-liner that does exactly what you've made a post saying you won't do"

I wonder if the Tigers will try to get Lodge back?
He's a quality forward but mightn't be the type of character we want in our club.Zero Tackle reporting Lodge is desperate to leave Brisbane and move back to Sydney. He has an option in his favour for 2020 but doesn’t want to stay.
Off field history aside, is HE the player we are missing? Similar in style to George Burgess but better?
Thoughts?
Why "mightn't"?He's a quality forward but mightn't be the type of character we want in our club.
