Being a development club doesn't mean you need to stick teenagers in first grade when there's better options. We already have the youngest squad in the NRL. And Salmon can learn more shit in reserve grade where he will still be the youngest player on the field.

With Nathan Brown out only Evans can provide that aggression which is sorely missing.

Earlier in the week Panthers gave him permission to talk to other clubs so they may have already decided to chip in something if he found a new club.

He'd also have earned 3/5s of his contract amount for this season which is 420k out of 700k. 280k balance. Go half each equals DWZ for 2019 = 140k or even less if we play hard ball.

Taka has been a decent part of the squad and would be on a modest contract.
If MJ costs an average to 700k then Taka would of cost half then that. He has had some great games and some poor ones. But he isn't what has determined the clubs success.
Taka on bench is a great utlitly.
If a back goes down we are covered and same goes for a half. And if not he play second row and give Lane or Nikuore a break.

That's why Salmon will make a better utility as he can play all the positions Taka can and also slot in at hooker. Can't carry two of them so Salmon wins out. Plus we have 3 other fwds on the bench. Mau can also play edge if we are caught short

Really? Penrith's statement is to the effect the Dallin asked for permission to negotiate with other clubs, not that he asked for unconditional release. I don't see how you can conclude that they won't chip in any money. They may, or they may not.

He could if needed. He is nearing 100kgs. Im sure he would know how to run into a hole. However that's why i also stated we have Mau as another option.

If he has no talent why was he signed?

The fact is you can see his talent through 70+ televised NRL games. But his attitude isn't something you can judge until you watch him face challenges during pre-season training. He's another of these players who needs solid leaders on the field with him.

Also, you're confusing attitude with aggression. It's possible to have an abundance of both, neither or just one of the two.
