Just think how good our overall defence would be if our right side was better defensively. Of course that side needs to improve, and I have no idea why you're even arguing against it. Maybe Ram was right and you are a goldfish.
How do you improve it? Those are the best players we have. Do we buy better players to replace them? How do we do that without breaking the cap?

I might be a goldfish but you and TheRam are a couple more simpletons who think every problem has an easy solution. Every team has a weakness and that's ours. The Roosters and Storm versions of you and TheRam are whinging about something of their own right now, and blaming their coaches for not fixing something so obvious.

I reckon a lot of that has to do with attitude. All 13 bust their arses to get back into position. A lot of other teams will have players that amble back, particularly if the break is made on the opposite side of the field.
That's because the Roosters recruit hard workers. They have one of the smaller, quicker packs in the competition.

Apparently Cam Smith is now looking like he will play on Thursday night. Trained fully yesterday and pulled up well today.

The Storm keep their powder dry too, bringing some awesome shit off the bench.
Only the highest quality for them

In an interview on the ParraEels website, Mennings talks about a little "dip" we are going through at the moment but is confident "we will be alright at the back end of the season". Could actually be some foxing going on.

Surely, there must be some sort of coach-instilled attitude of "play hard, but don't kill yourselves - save that for the Finals"?

Our steadfast refusal to attack on our right edge is testament to this, as is our half-baked fifth tackle options.

Perhaps BA is instructing the team to have a break, in a bye-less season, by only playing at 70% of their ability?

This theory probably makes no sense, but I reckon there is some merit to it.
