It's just my opinion, but he's "doing a Gallen" - he's making 200m a game, but he's also making more hit-ups than he used to, in order order get those 200m.

But the biggest thing is:

I think the first option is a better overall fit.

I don't think spending massive money on a brilliant player, only to derp it up in other positions, makes much sense.

I can't find any stats to show he's doing more runs, or making less metres per run, than he used to. I'm not saying they don't exist but the NRL stats don't have that info. And I would put our 3 middles on about 1.8M combined, so for the same price you could have JT and a couple of 400k players, which doesn't seem too bad. But anyway, that's a different argument.

I was listening to some gambling dude (I think it was Sportsbet) on the radio/TV yesterday who said they are offering odds on The Tigpies coming 9th. I kid you not. That's a bit cheeky I reckon.

Hope my Eels brethren will indulge me and let me ask you a Tigers question in our Forum, but I was thinking on Sunday when I was watching Luke Brooks deliver yet another one of his derp masterclasses - surely Madge would be reaching out to his former halfback Adam Reynolds to offer him the multi-year deal Souths aren't at the moment?? Should be going hard for him IMO. Brooks is garbage

Fair enough.

To be fair, my assessment was mostly based on observation - I didn't actually see any stats to back it up.

And Taumalolo is a great player, but he will be 28 this year, and to take him on at his price (and the amount of time left on his contract) would be a huge gamble.
