Yet only four teams have scored more tries than us. These crash plays are to set up the next play. It’s how you build pressure.
It’s not working is it. You’d want either one of your ball players at first receiver. There’s not much to set up when your 5m out. Are they that f**king over coached that they can’t play what in front of them. Hopeless.

If you swap Moses and Keary into any of those sides where Keary made a prelim final I would say Moses most definitely does.
Tedesco had never even played finals before he went to the Chooks. Then he won two premierships before he ever lost a finals match. The quality of the team is important for judging any member of it.

The 7th most points/tries in a mediocre competition despite being 3rd in possession, 2nd in completed sets, 2nd in post contact metres and 2nd in all metres run shows that we aren’t efficient at converting field position into points.

I'm not advocating paying Moses a million a year either. I'm simply pointing out that Keary would be a risky signing given his recent concussion history. Moses doesn't seem to have the clutch, big match temperament required to lead us to the promised land so I don't really know what the answer is tbh.
The answer is not Moses to be honest and offering him 1 mission a season is crazy just because he can kick a ball. He doesn't run it enough or lead the team on the field.

We are efficient, we’re just not as efficient as the teams that are full of stars. Which is why they’re stars.

We need to play to our strengths, which are yardage and kicking. We also need to avoid our weakness which is defence, and that means completing sets and forcing the opposition to make tackles.

Keary is one bad head knock away from being medically retired

Yes it is. What’s not working is our defence. That’s why we need to not just score tries but minimise the opposition’s time with the ball.
That’s every team. Not just us. We’re already ranked 3rd for possession and 2nd for completed sets. Imagine if we were lower *shudders*

What's not working is when we go 10 or more down our halfback doesn't lead the team more by being first receiver and Marshalling the team where to go and putting in big kicks.

Then when we put in big kicks we don't have anyone chasing hard like the Panfers had last night.

If anyone thinks that nepotism issue with BA is a non issue with the players at the club. Think again. It’s massive.
I think it’s a massive issue and eventually will be the straw that breaks the camels back. It’s surfaced twice this season and it’s not the kid’s fault it’s BA’s for putting him in this terrible position.

I actually feel for the kid which is why I’ve never put him on the shit list.

Let's pay a million for a halfback that hast won shit great idea no wonder the club is the way they are right now.
Like me, @Soto was only pointing out the risk of signing Keary with his recent concussion record. I am not seeing anywhere in his post or mine where we've mentioned giving Moses a million a year, or even re-signing him at all for that matter....

EDIT - I would add that I think Keary is a f**king great player and if he wasn't so prone to concussions in recent times, I'd offer him big dollars...
