What are your thoughts on Hasler.

Is he still employable.

I think he's still employable. He just shouldn't have any say on salary cap issues/mgmt.

This has now been questioned a number of times but many league pundits not just us. This is a good point. I know nothing about how popular he is amongst the players. I do know however that some of the staff that I personally know respect him. He is a very focused and driven individual who lives for our team.

However my only concern is not one of apathy but arrogance. Because he has been the boss for so long arrogance can creep in which can lead to a closed minded attitude where he could dismiss viable alternatives and creativity amongst the 17. Especially when it comes to game plans that are not just about Plan A and chasing the collision.

Let’s not forget the issue of our lack of juniors.

I know that’s not BA’s job, but when he looks at Penrith and all their local stars, does he not questions what’s going on with our juniors? We have the second largest nursery and are producing sweet f all.

Reddy was very underrated, could play almost any position in the backline. We win the GF in 09 he was a good chance to go on a Roo tour he was going that well.

I am pretty sure Reddy going off for 15 mins in a crucial period with a poke in the eye or concussion in that GF probably played a part in us losing the 09 GF.

I am sure when Grothe and Hayne were looking at Inglis just run through and grab the ball happened when Reddy was off who was marking GI.

I also don't think a leopard changes his spots no matter how much they say are willing to change especially with a control freak like Des.

Since ‘14 the club has obviously been looking at being consistent. Weve done that. I was happy to re sign BA up until now. In years gone by i was happy making the 8 again. We are past that and need to be aiming higher. This extension seems very early.

I was told by a fellow forumite that we have looked at a few different coaching options. Assistant and head coach options. Some proven some more so rookies.

It would of been nice to have a ready made replacement under BA but it’s never looked likely.

I’m not saying Ciraldo and Fitzy are gonna be flops but they haven’t done much yet. They could still flop.

It would be a big gamble to let BA go and hire a rookie, but maybe it might just bloody work.
