If Schuster follows Fulton to the Tigers.

How much would want you want the tigers to chip in on the 800k.

Beside the blindingly obvious issues with attitude and fitness, Schuster can obviously play but even in form he is not what we need. We need a specialist half, organising, kicking etc. Schuster, like Doueihi, Mbye & Peachey is a bit of this, a bit of that but not 100% specialist in anything.

Did you not watch the absolute halfback masterclass by one L. Brooks? You guys need to wrap that up as he comes into his prime

I actually think they will at some stage over the next few weeks, simply because they cant go into 2024 with Brandon Wakeham being our only half. Personally if we could jag an actual half like Hunt/Townsend/Trindall?etc, I could live with Brooks at 6 on the right money (Pie and a 6 pack).

MON keeping the Moses contract & press release in the back draw as payback for Issac dragging things out.
As I indicated previously, I suspect the club is waiting to see if anyone comes on board before 30 June, otherwise if not, they will renegotiate Moses 2023 contract to be part of the new contract, where we front load the shit out of his 2023 money with our remaining salary cap.

Steve Murphy wouldn’t be smart enough to think of that

Doesn't Moses have to signal his intent on whether he will be exercising his option for 2024 by round 10 or something?? I wonder if that impacts what they may or may not be able to do with front loading his 2023 salary. Or does he simply say I'll be exercising my player option for next year and then between now and 30 June the club and his mgmt negotiate as you have speculated?

My understanding is that things have progressed beyond that previous option. He indicated publicly on more than one occasion that he has agreed to terms from 2024, and I'd say he has signed a document committing to play for the club from 2024 for however many years and receive a total amount of money across the period. I suspect all parties are on the same page, and are in a 'wait and see' until 30 June.
