I rate Stefano. But the games moving towards smalls,faster and more mobile forwards. Look what JFH and Leota did in the last three grand finals. Quick leg speed. Ferocious defense. They are the style you want. Big men are ok if dominating but if go thru a tough spell you leak to many points.
I still remember when peanuts on here thought Tepau was better then the vicious fish.

Meh I’m not the one claiming Stefano is a saint. He tried to hold us to ransom and we decided not to play. If you reckon BA playing someone for very small game time is just around players signing elsewhere, you don’t watch many of our games.

We had a bunch of merkins play NRL all last year despite having signed elsewhere.

Well considering Stef debut at Parramatta was so important to Parra and Parra fans its worth remembering that his debut in the NRL, that his whole family came to and was no doubt excited..........BA put him on 1minute to go. He and his family must have been so happy. Really shitty thing to do and no doubt in response to him signing with the Tigers (but still wouldnt release him). he got 10mins and 13mins in his next two games.

That's just standard BA use of the bench to be honest, not any special treatment for Stefano...

M Moses - 80mins - 2 runs - 6 run metres - 0 PTB - 9missed tackles showing the mental toughness and professionalism that would stand him in good stead for his future employer and future teammate in Ryan Matterson.

Only dumb merkins don’t realise that you can win any game with 16 players. That last spot on the bench is there for injury cover or to reward the effort of a lower grader. If you’re lucky enough to have 17 genuine first graders available you might be able to give all four bench players half a game, but then you need to take 160 minutes away from your starters.

i agree but you need a big edge player like Kikau, Nelson, Fatfita, et al.

Players who will attract defenders even though they dont get the ball.
