The chances of Mitchell Moses featuring for NSW in the State of Origin opener have taken another hit, with the Eels halfback set to miss the side's Magic Round clash.

The 29-year-old has been sidelined since round three with a foot injury and is closing in on a return, but Nine reporter Danny Weidler revealed on Monday that Parramatta won't be rushing him back for their showdown with the Storm on Sunday afternoon.

Why rush him when we are going to lose and a short turnaround the following week against soufs? Also I selfishly don't want Moses playing origin to help get parras season back on track or at least start winning games...f**k origin...it ruins the season and should be either played at the end of the year or comp stopped for 3 weeks.
Play origin 3 Wednesdays in a row. Origin squads of 26 get selected and away they go..
Knock it out in 3 weeks and then let the season recommence.
Fill thur and Fri night with u20s and Women's origin, sat and sun with pacific nation internationals...get it done in 3 weeks...done and dusted..my thoughts on mon night, tired and ready to go to sleep but coming up with the solutions for V'landys, Abdo and co. Happy for them to DM me and own this for them 😀

Ponga's father is a snake that doesn't understand how TPA's work.
Lucky to play half a season for $1.2m per season.
Would be stupid to test the open market when injured for most the season.
"There's no issue with Kalyn Ponga's contract and anything to do with third parties remain between the player and his agent to resolve."

This is technically true, but if TPA providers associated with a club don’t pay, that will impact the perceived value of the TPAs ‘included’ in the club’s future negotiations with other players. Meanwhile some clubs have associated (but somehow ‘arms length’) TPA providers who always pay, and also require f**k all actual work other than a boozy game of golf with a small group. These clubs seem to have more luck signing players on unders compared to clubs like the Knights and others.

Its not the clubs issue but his snake of a father is trying to sink the club. This should be dealt with by his manager and the third party. Its a contract that can be enforced in court.
When he is on the field he is a great player but after this BS Id let him walk. Its malicious.

I think his father is his manager.
