We need 2 wingers and if Lomax is one who is the other? Probably need more recruitment there but one of our Cup players may fit the bill. We have Russell, AMS, Martin, Tago and new chum added to development Alameddine and one of those may be ready.

Amazing to think some deadshit experts called Moylan the Next Lockyer coming through.

Did he even achieve a quarter of what Lockyer did.

Played 3 games for NSW
1 game for Australia
3 finals win for his career never made a GF.

They basicaly produced one of the best ever halfbacks,Lock forwards and winger we've ever had in the game all simultaneously. Throw-in the Australian fullback along with a heap of other top shelf players and a few hits on signings with Api & Kikau.

I just do not see this ever happening again.If they did however manage then I will applaud Gould. I just wouldn't be suprised if the Dogs didn't make the 8 in 2025.

I know Luai was basicaly missing in last year finals and May was axed this year but where they pretty much fully fit bar this for the 4 peat? If so that's incredible in itself to have your best 17 available for the grand final 4 yrs in row

Good post and odds on you are right about Penrith. Compared to our run and batch of talent of the 80’s Cleary is their Sterlo, Yeo their Price etc.
They probably won’t fall like we did when those players move on but a lightning strike of quality has coincided with good management and development.
Edit: I think the dogs will do about the same next year.

Hunt was suggesting Gutho would make a good 6 as a way to have a dig at Flanno knowing his son plays in that position.

Dragons are looking at him as a 1 and 1 only

In attack there’s f**k all difference between 1 and 6. It’s in defence where they are very different, though I’d suggest fullback is more difficult than defending in the line. Gutherson was picked to defend at centre in Origin, for example, as are many other fullbacks.

That was years ago, before his body was broken. He’d get exposed like a chicken from the geographic region close to the west of Spain if he got picked there now.
